Week 9 DraftKings Cash Games
Winning Week 9 Cash Games On DraftKings
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP even if its a small one. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you could’ve won a GPP.
QB
Jalen Hurts $7,800
Hurts has scored five rushing TDs over the last two weeks. While he won’t score multiple TDs every game he has a great chance for one every week considering he has the 2nd most carries inside the 5-yard line. His legs provide a safe floor and his arm in this one adds to his ceiling. The Jags have allowed the most passing TDs and 2nd most passing yards this season.
Dak Prescott $6,300
Dak has thrown multiple TDs in four of his last five games. He’s averaged 38.2 pass attempts per game over that span whichbis 2nd most in the league. He’s playing in a dome in the game with the highest total on the slate.
Gardner Minshew $4,500
It’s gross but this salary is wild for a starting QB. The Bengals defense sucks and it allows for so much as far as roster construction.
RB
Kyren Williams $8,000
Kyren has averaged 22.74 DraftKings points over his last five games. He’s scored eight TDs over that span and has the 2nd most carries inside the 5-yard line this season. Seattle has allowed the 3rd most rushing yards this season.
Alvin Kamara $7,800
Kamara has at least six receptions in four of his last five games. He leads the all RBs in receptions and targets. There really is no competition for touches in this backfield which is great because we want him to touch the ball as much as possible against this pathetic Panthers defense.
DeVon Achane $6,700
Achane has a great ceiling with his big play upside. nice floor due to his usage in the passage game. He has the 4th most receptions of all RBs and has at least six receptions in each of his games with Tua. The Bills have allowed the most receptions per game to opposing RBs.
Chase Brown $5,900
Brown would be the cheapest option on the slate for Cash. He’s averaged 12.8 carries since Week 4 and has out touched Moss 75 to 56 over that span.
WR
Ceedee Lamb $8,800
Lamb has 31 targets over his last two games. He has and has a 27% target share on the season. He has a 27.6% targets per routes run which is 4th highest in the league. He’s playing in a dome in the only game with a total over 50 points.
Drake London $6,700
Last week wasn’t great but London had previously caught at least six balls in six straight games. He scored 7.4 Draftkings points last week and 3.5 points in Week 1. He’s averaged 20.43 in his six other games. The Cowboys are allowing 7.6 yards per reception which is the most in the league.
Chris Olave $6,100
Olave is a must play in Cash for me. He had 14 targets last week and with Shaheed put of the lineup he has very little competition for targets. The Panthers have been eviscerated by WR ones lately.
Jakobi Meyers $5,700
Meyers has at least five receptions in four straight games. In three games without Adams in the lineup, Meyers has a 28% target share and one less yard than Bowers.
Cedric Tillman $4,300
Tillman is still for to cheap for his recent utilization. He’s had target totals of nine and twelve in his past two games. He has the 2nd most receptions and air yards over that span.
Parker Washington $3,600
Without a ton of pay down options on the slate Washington is definitely in play for Cash with Kirk out and especially if Brian Thomas misses as well. The Eagles have allowed theb5th most points per game to opposing WRs over the last three weeks.
TE
Evan Engram $5,300
The WR room is decimated for the Jaguars and Engram should be the benefactor. The Eagles have allowed the 5th most points per game to opposing TEs over the last four weeks.
Mike Gesicki $3,100
With Higgins out of the lineup, Gesicki has a 20% target share. The Bengals have a 26.75 point implied team total which is 4th highest on the slate.
DEF
LAC $3,300
DEN $2,700
NYG $2,300
