Week 8 DraftKings Cash Games
Winning Week 8 Cash Games on Draftkings
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP even if its a small one. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you could’ve won a GPP.
QB
Jordan Love $7,100
Love should probably more expensive considering what he’s been doing and the matchup. Love has thrown multiple TDs in every game and now gets to face the Jaguars who have allowed a league high 16 passing TDs. The Packers have the 3rd highest implied team total on the slate.
Caleb Williams $6,000
Caleb looks to be getting more comfortable the last few weeks. He’s thrown multiple TDs in three of his last four games. He’s run for 34 and 56 yards in his last two games. The Bears should be well prepared coming off their bye and get to play Washington who has been poor defending the pass this season. Their numbers of late make them look slightly better defending the pass but Cleveland and Carolina combined for 218 yards against them.
Bo Nix $5,600
Nix is definitely the pay down at QB. He’s run for at least 60 yards in back to back games which provides a safe floor. He gets to face the Panthers who have allowed the 4th most points to opposing QBs.
RB
Joe Mixon $7,700
Mixin has looked great and has zero competition for touches. He’s eclipsed 100 yards in back to back games and has scored four total TDs over that span. He’s averaged 5.7 yards per carry and has the most goaline carries in those games. The Colts have allowed over five yards per carry over the last four weeks.
Breece Hall $7,300
Breece has turned back into the workhorse of the team with the departure of Saleh. He’s played 82% of snaps last week while Allen only played 9%. He’s had at least 18 opportunities in back to back games. He’s caught 11 of 15 targets in those two games. New England has allowed the 2nd most rushing yards and six rushing TDs over the last four weeks.
Javonte Williams $6,000
The Carolina Panthers. That should be all you need to know to be confident but Javonte has at least 17 opportunities in three of his last four games and the Broncos should be in a positive game script as heavy favorites at home.
Rachaad White $5,700
White caught all six of his targets on Monday night. He should see an increase in targets with Godwin and Evans out. It also looks like Irving might miss this game which would make White a great volume play.
WR
Amon Ra St Brown $8,400
With Jameson Williams suspended Anon Ra could see an increase in his already high 29% target share. The opportunity share makes him by far the safest of the pay up options. He’s lined up in the slot on 45% of his routes which will help him get away from L’Jarius Sneed as well. He’s also tied for the 3rd most targets to WRs inside the 10-yard line.
Drake London $7,200
London has the 3rd most receptions and targets this season and has a 27% target share. He also has the 2nd most redzone targets. He’s had at least six receptions in every game since Week 2 and has scored a TD in all but one of those games. He went 12 for 154 yards and a TD just three weeks ago against this Tampa defense.
Tyreek Hill $7,000
Tyreek is only $7k. Not gonna have many chances to play him at this price.
Amari Cooper $6,000
In his first game with the Bills, Cooper had a 25% target share despite only having a 34% route participation. He is the clear number one for this team going forward and should be relied upon heavily as he gets more comfortable with this offense.
Cedric Tillman $3,300
Tillman caught eight balls on ten targets for 81 yards last week. The Browns are rather thin at WR with the departure of Cooper and Tillman looks like he’s could step in as WR1. The change to Winston at QB has to be an upgrade at QB making Tillman a great option for Cash at his salary. The Ravens have allowed the most yards to opposing WRs this season.
The Bucs guys are an option but we don’t know which guy it’s gonna be
I also don’t mind
Tim Patrick $3,500
TE
Evan Engram $5,000
Since coming back from injury Engram has 15 targets and a 27% target share. This game has the highest total on the slate and the Jaguars should be throwing a lot as underdogs.
Cade Otten $3,500
Coming off a game where he had 100 yards on eight catches on ten targets and Tampa lost all their Receivers, Otten is underpriced. If that game was on Sunday he’d be higher priced. To me he is THE play at TE this week.
DEF
LAC $3,300
CHI $2,700
