Week 7 DraftKings Cash Games
Winning Week 7 Cash Games
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP even if its a small one. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you could’ve won a GPP.
QB
Jayden Daniels $7,600
Daniels has a very safe floor scoring at least 20 points in five of six games. He’s averaging 53 rushing yards per game and over five yards per carry. He gets to face the Carolina defense who has allowed the most points scored, 2nd most passing TDs and 2nd most rushing yards this season.
Geno Smith $5,800
Geno leads the league in pass attempts and yards but the TDs haven’t come with that. You’d have to think that would change at some point considering the pass volume and talented pass catchers. Even with with the lack of TDs he’s still averaging 19.8 DraftKings points per game. This game has a total over 50 in a dome.
RB
Kyren Williams $8,100
Despite already having a bye week, Kyren is tied for the most carries inside 10-yard line. He’s had at least 23 opportunities in three straight games. Vegas is allowing five yards per carry and the 4th most rushing TDs this season. The Rams are heavy favorites at home so Kyren should be in a positive game script.
Chuba Hubbard $6,500
Hubbard has the 3rd most rushing yards this season and is averaging a ridiculous 5.6 yards per carry. He also has 22 receptions which is 2nd most among RBs. Washington has allowed the 3rd most points per game to opposing RBs.
Tony Pollard $6,300
Pollard has turned into the workhorse for the Titans and even more so with Spears likely out with a hamstring injury. Pollard has at least 16 carries in four of five games and at least three receptions in the same number of games. Buffalo has allowed a league high 5.3 yards per carry.
Ty Chandler $5,600
I don’t love it but there’s no RB value on the slate. If Aaron Jones can’t play Chandler provides some value that will get a decent amount of opportunities at home in a game with a high total.
WR
Justin Jefferson $8,500
Jefferson hasn’t had an absolute explosion game yet but the Vikings really haven’t been pushed to this point. That could change this week in a home game against a bad secondary with a total over 50 points. He has a 34% target share and has the 6th most air yards in the league despite already having his bye week.
Drake London $6,900
London has seen double digit targets in three straight games. He has a 27.4% targets per route run which is 4th highest in the league. He’s had at least six receptions in each of his last five games. He’s tied for the 2nd most redzone targets in the league.
Diontae Johnson $6,600
Diontae has double digit targets in three of his last four games. He has a 28% target share and leads the league in targets inside the 10-yard line. He gets to face a terrible Washington defense in the highest total on the slate.
Jerry Jeudy $4,800
Cooper is gone and Jeudy should step into the WR1 role for this team. Cooper had a 23.3% target share which was 9th highest in the league. They may not be the best targets but Jeudy will get opportunities at sub $5k against the Bengals who are tied for the 4th most receiving TDs this season.
JuJu Smith Schuster $4,000
The Chiefs went on bye and the DraftKings pricing algorithm forgot JuJu existed. I don’t expect another 130 yard game but this price is far too cheap for JuJu who should continue to play the Rashee Rice role in this offense.
TE
Brock Bowers $5,800
Double digit targets and a 30% target share with Adams out of the lineup. In a TE landscape that’s devoid of safety Bowers stands alone.
David Njoku $4,100
Similar to the Jeudy the argument is voided Cooper targets. The difference is $700 and a terrible TE position that needs to be filled. Cincy also hasn’t been great against TEs this season.
Grant Calcaterra $3,200
Calcaterra caught all four of his targets last week for 67 yards. Goedert looks like he’s gonna miss this game which leaves Grant as a cheap TE play with increased opportunities.
DEF
CIN $3,300
CLE $2,500
