Week 6 Draftkings Cash Games
Winning Week 6 Cash Games
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP even if its a small one. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you could’ve won a GPP.
QB
Lamar Jackson $7,800
Lamar leads all QBs in rushing yards and he provides such a safe floor with his legs. He’s run for over 50 yards in all but one of his games. The Ravens are huge favorites at home and have the highest implied team total on the slate.
Dak Prescott $6,700
The Cowboys have no running game to speak of and the Lions force you to throw the ball. Dak should get plenty of opportunities at home in a game with a total over 50. Dak has thrown for multiple TDs in three straight games and thrown for over 350 yards in two of them.
Spencer Rattler $4,000
We don’t know what to expect from Rattler but paying $4k for a starting QB allows for a lot of leniency in your lineup. He might be a better GPP play due to the chance he could do nothing but he does have some accuracy and despite not running much in college, he is mobile. Add the fact that he has talented pass catchers in Kamara, Olave and Shaheed and he might be worth a stab.
RB
Bijan Robinson $6,600
Bijan hasn’t exactly lived up to a top three pick in season long to this point but he’s still been productive. He’s averaging 17 opportunities per game and has at least four catches in four of his five games. The salary is too low and he gets to play the terrible Panthers defense who has allowed the most rushing TDs to opposing RBs this season.
Chuba Hubbard $6,300
Hubbard has had an elite workload to this point. He also has at least four receptions in eachbof his last four games which provides a safe floor on DraftKings.
Tony Pollard $6,000
Other than an odd Week 3 where he only had six carries; Pollard has had at least 16 carries in each game including 22 in his last game. He’s also had at least three receptions in three of his four games. Pollard is actually tied for 2nd for most broken tackles among RBs.
Bucky Irving $5,400
Rachaad White will miss this game leaving Bucky in line for an increased roll. Bucky is averaging an impressive 5.6 yards per carry. He hasn’t added much in the passing game but is a capable pass catcher. With a lack of value on the slate he provides some salary savings as a cheaper RB as a 3.5 point favorite.
WR
Ceedee Lamb $8,600
Amon Ra $8,100
Both are elite options in an incredible spot upu really don’t need to make too much of a case for either of them.
Chris Godwin $6,900
Godwin has at least five catches in every game this year. He’s averaging 6.4 catches and 77.2 yards. The Saints aren’t an incredible matchup but are more susceptible to slot WRs and just gave up 130 yards to Juju Smith Schuster.
Darnell Mooney $5,300
Mooney has a 24% target share and has eight or more catches in two of his last three games. He has a safe floor and has flashed his upside several times including last week when he scored 34.5 DraftKings points. He gets to play the pathetic Panthers defense who has allowed 7.6 yards per pass attempt which is 2nd highest in the league. You can make a case for Drake London as well but I prefer the savings with Mooney.
Xavier Hutchinson $3,300
If you’re looking for an absolute punt at WR to make a lineup work, Hutchinson will have an increased workload with Nico Collins on the IR.
TE
Jake Ferguson $5,000
Ferguson is the top option at TE this week in a good matchup/game environment. He has at least six catches and at least seven targets in three straight games including 11 targets in Week 3. He’s easily the 2nd option behind Lamb especially with Cooks out.
Zach Ertz $3,700
Cade Otten $3,500
The two of these guys are heavily involved in their offenses playing defenses that haven’t been great defending TEs. I prefer Otten but both are in play as the cheap options this week.
DEF
TEN $2,900
TB $2,600
NE $2,400
