Week 5 DraftKings Cash Games
Week 5 DraftKings Cash Game Breakdown
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP even if its a small one. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you could’ve won a GPP.

QB
Brock Purdy $6,200
The 49ers are seven point favorites at home with a ridiculous 28.25 implied team total whichbis the highest on the slate. Purdy leads QBs ithb9.3 yards per attempt and the Cardinals have allowed 8.5 yards per pass attempt which is 2nd highest in the league. They also don’t get pressure on the QB with a league low four QB hurries through the first four games.
Geno Smith $5,900
The successful of the Ryan Grubb offense has carried over into the NFL. Geno leads the league with 1,182npassing yards. Despite leading the league in pass attempts, Geno has only thrown four TDs so far this season. You’d have to think that number would increase considerably based on his passing volume. The Giants can definitely help in that department. They’ve allowed the 5th most passing TDs to this point.
RB
Kyren Williams $7,600
Kyren’s workload has been insane. He’s been relied upon heavily with Kupp and Puka out and has zero competition for touches out of the backfield. He’s had at least 20 touches in three of his first four games. He leads the league in carries inside the 5-yard line and has five TDs already this season.
Jordan Mason $7,400
Mason has a great combination of volume and efficiency. He has the most carries in football and the 2nd most rushing yards. He’s averaging 4.9 yards per carry and has the most yards after contact. Mason leads the league with 21 redzone carries. Arizona is bottom five in rushing yards allowed and has allowed a league high eight rushing TDs.
Chuba Hubbard $6,100
Hubbard is coming off of back to back games with 100+ rushing yards and at least 18 carries. He also has at least four receptions in each of his last three games.
Tyrone Tracy Jr $4,300
Singletary will miss this game and Tracy should be first in line to get thebbulk of the workload. The guaranteed touches at just above $4k at RB make him an option in Cash.
WR
Nico Collins $7,700
Nico is emerging as one of the pass catchers in Football. He leads the league in receiving yards to this point. He has a 29% target share and 3.24 yards per route run. That’s 2nd to only Jauan Jennings who has run 51 less than Collins. Nico has three straight games with double digit targets. He caught 12 balls for 151 yards last week.
Deebo Samuel $6,800
Deebo wasn’t great last week after missing Week 3 with a Calf injury but had targets Totals of ten and nine in Weeks 1 and 2. It certainly helps his floor that he also will get some rushing attempts. He’s had multiple carries in each of his games including eight in Week 1.
Diontae Johnson $6,100
I prefer Hubbard over Diontae due to the matchup but Johnson is definitely in play for Cash. He’s had targets Totals of 13 and 14 over the last two weeks. He’s had at least seven receptions and scored a TD in each of those games.
Dontayvion Wicks $5,000
Wicks will have an expanded role with Christian Watson out. He had 13 targets last week. He already has three TDs and gets to play the terrible Rams defense. Romeo Doubs is also banged up and could miss this game.
Jordan Whittington $4,600
Whittington played 97% of snaps and lead all Rams in routes and targets last week. He had six catches for 62 yards. The Rams are underdogs at home and likely playing keep up with the Packers due to the Rams’ horrible defense.
TE
Cody Parkinson $3,700
TE is a dumpster fire and Parkinson is at least involved and cheap. He’s had at least five targets and three catches in three of his four games.
Tucker Kraft $3,500
Kraft has three straight games with at least 15% target share. He’s completely overtaken Musgrave in terms of snaps and routes run. He had nine targets last week that resulted in six catches.
Eric All Jr $2,700
Again TE is a joke. All provides serious salary savings and has caught at four passes in three straight games.
DEF
DEN $2,900
HOU $2,600
IND $2,600
