As a weekly series here at Create-A-Rank, I look at every box score, track target share, snap share, and air yards. I compile all of the trends that I find useful or interesting here in order to help you make better lineup and roster decisions. Pair this with our weekly rankings, WRs vs CBs Matchups chart, and other articles to give your teams an edge over the competition. Without further ado, here is everything I took away from an exciting Week 13 of snaps, targets, air yards, and trends.
Game Day Stats
- Le’Veon Bell has averaged fewer than four yards per carry in 10-of-12 games.
- Jordan Wilkins led the Colts backfield with 13 touches.
- With Kalen Ballage exiting with injury, Patrick Laird led the Dolphins backfield with 10 carries and five targets.
- Saquon Barkley’s 83 rushing yards was his highest total since Week 2.
- James Washington has had 90+ receiving yards and a touchdown in three of the last four games.
- Peyton Barber led the Bucs backfield with 17 carries. Ronald Jones had six. Neither RB was targeted.
- Leonard Fournette has 18 receptions on 23 targets over the last two weeks.
- Raheem Mostert dominated the 49ers backfield touches with 19 carries and two receptions. Tevin Coleman and Jeff Wilson combined for five rushes and two receptions.
- Brandin Cooks has six targets in two games since returning from a concussion.
Snap Share
- Devin Singletary played a season-high 78-percent of the snaps.
- Joe Mixon played a season-high 79-percent of the snaps.
- Despite Phillip Lindsay dominating the backfield touches, he played on 44-percent of the snaps while Royce Freeman played 56-percent.
- Bo Scarbrough has played 49-percent of the snaps since Week 11.
- Packers backfield snap rates: Aaron Jones: 58-percent, Jamaal Williams: 42-percent.
- Duke Johnson has out-snapped Carlos Hyde in each of the last three games (59.3-percent to 40.3-percent over that span). Johnson had out-snapped Hyde just three times in Weeks 1 through 10.
- Colts backfield snap share vs Titans: Jordan Wilkins 44-percent, Nyheim Hines 43-percent, Jonathan Williams 22-percent.
- Melvin Gordon played a season-high 65-percent of the snaps.
- With Kalen Ballage exiting with an injury, Patrick Laird played 60-percent of the Dolphins offensive snaps.
- Sony Michel played a season-low 78-percent of the snaps.
- Alvin Kamara played 82-percent of the snaps, his highest rate since Week 3.
- Miles Sanders has played 85-, 84-, and 87-percent of the snaps over the last three weeks without Jordan Howard.
- 49ers backfield snap rates in Week 13: Raheem Mostert 74-percent, Tevin Coleman 18-percent, Jeff Wilson 9-percent.
- Steelers backfield snap rates: Jaylen Samuels 55-percent, Benny Snell 37-percent, Kerrith Whyte Jr. 15-percent.
Target Rate
- Larry Fitzgerald (21-percent) had his highest target share since Week 6.
- D.J. Moore has had a target share of at least 24-percent in eight-straight games.
- Anthony Miller has seen a target rate of at least 22-percent in each of the last three weeks including a season-high 34-percent in Week 13.
- Courtland Sutton saw 18-percent of the targets in Week 13, his lowest rate since Week 2.
- Mike Williams (24-percent) saw his highest target share since Week 5.
- Cooper Kupp’s lowest target rate in Weeks 1 through 9 was 21-percent in Week 7. Since then, his weekly target rate has been 10-percent, 17-percent, 27-percent, and 13-percent.
- DeVante Parker has seen a target share below 22-percent just once since Week 6.
- Robby Anderson (21-percent) received his highest target rate since Week 7.
- Alshon Jeffery had a season-high 35-percent target share in his first game back from injury.
- Rookie WR Kelvin Harmon has seen 20-percent of the targets in each of the last two weeks.
