Allen Lazard 2023 free agency preview. Allen Lazard was teed up for a breakout season in 2022 after the Packers traded away Davante Adams. Instead, he was overshadowed by rookie Christian Watson. Still, Allen Lazard managed to set career highs in targets (100), receptions (60), and receiving yards (788) while scoring six touchdowns. But now there is a ton of uncertainty entering the 2023 free agency period, not just for Lazard but for the Packers as a team. We don’t yet know if Aaron Rodgers plans on returning to the team, retiring, or requesting a trade. Rodgers’ status will surely impact Lazard’s situation.
Allen Lazard could be a good fit for a team in need of some size on the outside like the New York Giants. Lazard has the size to be a great red zone weapon for Daniel Jones (if he’s back).
