Streaming Defenses: Week 4

Say it with me: This is why we stick with process over results. Did we get lucky? With Indianapolis scoring two touchdowns, I’d say yes. But our process is what led us to creating our own luck. We knew the Jets sucked so we attacked them. Here’s the breakdown by tier for points scored in week three.

Tier 1: 14.0 points
Tier 2: 5.8 points
Tier 3: N/A
Tier 4: 3.9 points

We couldn’t have asked for a better week three. Along with the incredible 26 point performance by Indianapolis, we pin-pointed Cleveland and Tampa Bay who finished in the top five this week. Sticking with our current process is easily the way to go. We’ll attack low implied points against and err on the side of favorites.

Week 4 Streaming Defenses Tiers

Week 4 Streaming DefensesHere’s a quick explanation of the tiers we’re using: Tier one will be all favorites in the 40-43.5 O/U range, all double digit favorites, and any favorite with an implied points against less than 20. Next up will be tier two which will consist of all other favorites. Tier three will consist of any underdogs that are in games with O/U below 40.

I’ve also decided to order each tier by the favorite’s spread. The tier criteria will still be what’s listed above, but now the tiers will be ordered to show you who you should target first in each tier.

Note: I’m not including all NFL teams in tiers anymore. It doesn’t make sense to include all the underdogs just to list out all 32 teams. Just know that if you don’t see a team in the tiers, you probably shouldn’t start them.
