Past opportunity helps us predict future usage and, in turn, future fantasy output. But I understand that not every fantasy gamer has the time or resources to stay on top of the recent trends. So, I am doing the research for you.
As a weekly series, I look at every box score, track target share, snap share, and air yards. I compile all of the trends that I find useful or interesting here in order to help you make better lineup and roster decisions. Without further ado, here is everything I took away from an exciting Week 14 of snaps, targets, air yards, and trends.
Snap Share
- Devin Singletary played a season-high 82% of the snaps
- Panthers RB Snap Shares: Ameer Abdullah 59%, Chuba Hubbard 39%
- Broncos RB Snap Shares: Melvin Gordon 50%. Javonte Williams 49%
- For the third-straight game where they were both active, AJ Dillon out-snapped Aaron Jones (54% to 45%)
- Ty Johnson played 73% of the snaps
- Rashaad Penny had a 57% snap share
- Jeff Wilson played 59% of the snaps with Elijah Mitchell out
- Titans RB Snap Shares: Jeremy McNichols 38%, Dontrell Hilliard 33%, D’Onta Foreman 32%
- Gabriel Davis played a season-high 83% of the snaps
- Josh Palmer played 87% of the snaps with Keenan Allen out
- Ray-Ray McCloud played a season-high 85% of the snaps
- Julio Jones played 45% of the snaps in his return from injury
- Foster Moreau played 98% of the snaps
Target Share
- Ameer Abdullah had an 11% target share
- David Montgomery has had a target share over 21% in each of the last two games
- Nick Chubb has had a double-digit target share in each of the last two games
- Ty Johnson had a 17% target share
- Titans RB Target Shares: Jeremy McNichols 3%, Dontrell Hilliard 6%, D’Onta Foreman 6%
- Russell Gage has had a target share over 21% in five of his last six games
- Rashod Bateman had a 19% target share, his highest since Week 10
- Donovan Peoples-Jones had a season-high 22% target share
- Amon-Ra St. Brown has had target shares of 29% and 31% over the last two weeks
- Nico Collins had a season-high 20% target share
- Josh Palmer had a season-high 23% target share
- Jaylen Guyton had a 10% target share
- K.J. Osborn had a 29% target share with Adam Thielen out
- Julio Jones had a 19% target share in his first game back
- Albert Okwuegbunam had a target share of 20%
- Brevin Jordan has had a double-digit target share in four-straight games and five of his last six
- Foster Moreau had a 13% target share
