Past opportunity helps us predict future usage and, in turn, future fantasy output. But I understand that not every fantasy gamer has the time or resources to stay on top of the recent trends. So, I am doing the research for you.
As a weekly series, I look at every box score, track target share, snap share, and air yards. I compile all of the trends that I find useful or interesting here in order to help you make better lineup and roster decisions. Without further ado, here is everything I took away from an exciting Week 11 of snaps, targets, air yards, and trends.
Snap Share
- Falcons RB snap shares with Cordarrelle Patterson out: Mike Davis 48%, Qadree Ollison 48%, Wayne Gallman 4%
- Even with Latavius Murray back, Devonta Freeman remained the snap leader (58%) in Baltimore
- Bills backfield snap shares: Devin Singletary 38%, Matt Breida 32%, Zack Moss 29%
- Christian McCaffrey played 90% of the snaps
- A.J. Dillon played 75% of the snaps in first game without Aaron Jones. Patrick Taylor played the other 25%
- Clyde Edwards-Helaire played 47% of the snaps in his first game back. Darrel Williams was on the field for 53%
- Patriots RB snap shares: Damien Harris 39%, Rhamondre Stevenson 34%, Brandon Bolden 27%
- Miles Sanders played 46% of the snaps in his first game back
- Deejay Dallas played a season-high 37% of the snaps
- 49ers RB snap shares with Elijah Mitchell out: Jeff Wilson 58%, Trey Sermon 35%
- Dontrell Hilliard led the Titans backfield with a 63% snap share
- Rondale Moore was targeted 11 times despite playing just 39% of the snaps
- Josh Reynolds played 90% of the snaps in his Lions debut
- Dawson Knox played 98% of the snaps
- With Logan Thomas and Ricky Seals-Jones out, John Bates played 99% of the snaps
Target Share
- Joe Mixon was not targeted
- A.J. Dillon had an 18% target share in first game without Aaron Jones
- Nyheim Hines was not targeted
- Mark Ingram had a 20% target share
- Josh Jacobs had a season-high 26% target share
- Jeff Wilson had a 9% target share in Elijah Mitchell’s absence
- Dontrell Hilliard had a 19% target share
- Antonio Gibson was not targeted
- Christian Kirk had his lowest target share (11%) since Week 4
- Rondale Moore had a 25% target share
- Darnell Mooney had a massive 47% target share
- Tee Higgins had a season-low 10% target share
- Josh Reynolds had a 13% target share in his Lions debut
- Marquez Valdes-Scantling had a 30% target share
- Michael Pittman had a 25% target share
- Laviska Shenault had a target share over 20% in seven of 10 games
- Jaylen Waddle has had a target share over 20% in five of his last six games
- Tre’Quan Smith has had target shares of 19% and 20% over the last two weeks
- Elijah Moore had a season-high 28% target share
- Bryan Edwards was not targeted
- Brandon Aiyuk’s target shares over the last four weeks: 25%, 20%, 21%, and 32%
- Deebo Samuel saw just 9% of the targets
- Dawson Knox had a 25% target share
- TJ Hockenson had a 35% target share
- Donald Parham had a season-high 12% target share
- Adam Trautman has had target shares of 15%, 16%, 17%, and 20% over the last four weeks
- Dallas Goedert has had a target share over 33% in three of his last four games. The other he left with a concussion
