Opportunity is king when it comes to fantasy football production.  Therefore, it is important to be aware of each player’s opportunity share. Past opportunity helps us predict future usage and, in turn, future fantasy output. But I understand that not every fantasy gamer has the time or resources to stay on top of the recent trends.  So, I am doing the research for you.

As a weekly series, I look at every box score, track target share, snap share, Route participation, and air yards. Without further ado, here is everything I took away from an exciting Week 14 of snaps, targets, air yards, and route participation.

  • Travis Homer 13.2%
• Ray Davis did not see the field 
• Browns RB snap shares:
  • Jerome Ford 55.6%
  • Nick Chubb 36.1%
  • Pierre Strong 9.7%
• Jaguars RB snap shares:
  • Tank Bigsby 52.5%
  • Travis Etienne 47.5%
• Chiefs RB snap shares:
  • Isiah Pacheco 46.4%
  • Kareem Hunt 29%
  • Samaje Perine 24.6%
• Kimani Vidal out-snapped Gus Edwards 53.3% to 43.3%
• Sincere McCormick played 61.2% of the snaps
• Jaylen Wright played just 19.4% of the snaps with Raheem Mostert out
• Kendre Miller played 26.5% of the snaps in his return from IR
• Jets RB snap shares with Breece Hall out:
  • Braelon Allen 54.4%
  • Isaiah Davis 52.9%
• Jaylen Warren out-snapped Najee Harris 52.3% to 41.5%
• Zach Charbonnet played 79.7% of the snaps with Kenneth Walker out; Kenny McIntosh mixed in for 23.4% and George Holani 3.1%

Target Share

• Ray-Ray McCloud led the Falcons with a 29.7% target share 
• Amari Cooper led the Bills with a 37.8% target share
• Jerry Jeudy’s target share fell back down to 16.2%
• Christian Watson had a team-high 36.8% target share; Tucker Kraft and Dontayvion Wicks were next at 26.8%
• Jayden Reed had a 5.3% target share 
• Brian Thomas Jr has a 40% target share 
• Isiah Pacheco out-targeted Kareem Hunt 4 to 1
• Puka Nacua had a 46.7% target share 
• Josh Palmer had a 31% target share with Ladd McConkey out
• Michael Mayer had a 25.7% target share; he out-targeted Brock Bowers 9 to 5
• Jaylen Waddle had a 26.7% target share 
• Jordan Addison had a 42.9% target share 
• Tyrone Tracy was targeted 10 times (21.7%)
• Jets RB targets:
  • Isaiah Davis 6 (15.4%)
  • Braelon Allen 5 (12.8%)
• Grant Calcaterra had a 15.8% target share
• With George Pickens out, it was Jaylen Warren who led the Steelers in target share (20.8%). Next closest was a tie between Mike Williams, Scotty Miller, and Calvin Austin (16.7%)
• Zach Charbonnet had a 24.1% target share
• Deebo Samuel had an 11.5% target share 
• Isaac Guerendo had a 7.7% target share 
• Jalen McMillan had a 15% target share. That led the team
• Nick Westbrook-Ikhine had a 6.3% target share (2)
