Buy A.J. Brown

It was just a few months ago that A.J. Brown was a consensus top-2 dynasty wide receiver. Many people, myself included, had him as WR1. But an injury-riddled season has turned a lot of dynasty gamers off, opening the buy window. Brown is still just 24-years old. He entered the league with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and a combined 19 touchdowns to begin his career. He was WR6 on a per-game basis in 2020. His 17-game pace this season is 133 targets, and over 1,000 yards. This is a 6-0, 226-pound athletic freak who has been producing at a high-level since 2017 at Ole Miss. His dynasty managers are feeling impatient and a little nervous so now is the time to pounce and get him for a good deal.

Buy A.J. Dillon

A.J. Dillon is every bit worth the cost of admission. Going back to the end of last season, he has been nothing but excellent when he has had his opportunity. The questions about Dillon coming into the league were about his pass-catching ability, but Dillon has proven capable in that area this season. Even while sharing time with Aaron Jones, Dillon has still managed to run over 100 routes and catch 27 passes. He has become increasingly involved in the Packers offense even with Jones. In fact, Week 14 was the third-straight game where they were both active, that Dillon out-snapped Jones (54% to 45%). At some point he’s going to be the workhorse in this offense and he will be impossible to acquire. And in the meantime, he still has standalone value with top-5 upside if Jones goes down.

Sell Marquise Brown

Marquise Brown has broken out as a fantasy wide receiver in 2021. He’s approaching 1,000 yards receiving and is a WR1 in terms of fantasy points per game. He has taken advantage of this new version of the Baltimore offense that is passing the ball at its highest rate since Lamar Jackson became the quarterback. It’s been a fun season and Brown is a few drops from it being even better. But what happens next year? When J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards are back? When Rashod Bateman is fully entrenched in the offense? It will be difficult for Brown to maintain his share of the offense to the level that it has been at in 2021. Bateman has an alpha profile and will command targets. Dobbins and Edwards will allow the Ravens to get back to running the ball. And we know Mark Andrews will continue to be a favorite target of Jackson. This is likely the highest Brown’s value will get. If you’re contending, ride it out for the season. If not, you can likely get a good deal from a team looking for that last piece to make a run.

Sell Terrace Marshall

Terrace Marshall has been a colossal disappointment in his rookie season. This is a guy who was being drafted in the late first/early second of rookie drafts six months ago. Unfortunately, though, he has played in just nine games, catching 14 passes for 116 yards. Marshall has been a healthy scratch on multiple occasions. While I’m a fan of Marshall and think there’s still a chance for him, we have to play the probabilities. It’s unlikely going to happen for him. His rookie season is reminiscent of Bryan Edwards, Denzel Mims, and Jalen Reagor in 2020 or N’Keal Harry a couple years ago. There are still dynasty gamers who still are passionate about Marshall. If one of them is in your league, you can probably still get a return.

Stash of the Week: Ashton Dulin

Ashton Dulin was an undrafted free agent out of Malone College in 2019. He had just five receptions in his first two seasons, contributing mostly on special teams. But he stuck around the roster and has flashed some ability on offense in his third season. Dulin has been targeted 18 times, catching 12 balls for 237 yards. He has scored a touchdown in each of the Colts’ last two games. That included a 62-yarder in Week 12 against Houston. His opportunities are still minimal and the odds are stacked against him, but he’s worth a stash in deep dynasty leagues. Afterall, he is one of the more athletic wide receivers in the league and has the size (6-1, 215-pounds) to succeed. He was a dominant producer in college, albeit at a small school, with an age 18 breakout. It’s not often we see an undrafted guy breakout multiple years into his career, but Dulin’s profile says he has as good a chance as any.
