DraftKings Week 4: Cheap Plays With Massive Upside

Let’s get right into it, these are some of the top lower priced/high upside plays on DraftKings for Week 4.

Will Fuller, WR, Texans

will-fuller-week-4-DraftKings-fantasy-football-training camp-previewWill Fuller gave us what we wanted in Week 1 with a high-volume role that resulted in 112 yards on eight receptions and 10 targets. Week 2, on the other hand, was a disaster. His chronic hamstring issues rose to the surface and he laid a goose egg. But the injury was minor and he showed up again in Week 3, finding the end zone and leading the team in targets. With the hamstring injury behind him, we can again be excited about Fuller in this offense just in time for the schedule to open up. Week 4 brings an extremely favorable matchup with a Vikings secondary that has surrendered an average of 299.3 passing yards per game through three weeks. Fuller is already top-10 in Target Separation and should have no trouble eating up the Vikings. We could absolutely see his first long touchdown of the season in this one and a massive fantasy performance.

DeVante Parker, WR, Dolphins

Like Fuller, DeVante Parker was battling a hamstring injury of his own in the first two weeks but is now at full health. He has caught 14-of-17 targets for 169 yards and a touchdown through three games with a 100-percent True Catch Rate. Parker gets a mouthwatering matchup with the Seahawks who have become the first team in NFL history to allow 1,200 yards passing in three games. And with the Seattle offense playing as well as it has, game script should call for heavy pass volume on the Miami side. Parker is only $5,700 on Draftkings in a week we could see him finish as a top-five wideout.

Andy Isabella, WR, Cardinals

andy-isabella-nfc-west-fantasy-previewAndy Isabella was an incredible prospect coming out of a small school in 2019. He posted a 97th-percentile Dominator Rating at The University of Massachusetts. He averaged 16.6 (75th-percentile) Yards Per Reception while commanding a 36.7-percent (97th-percentile)College Target Share in his final season. Isabella wowed scouts at the NFL Combine with his 4.31 (100th-percentile) 40-time while displaying above average burst and agility.

We’re now starting to see it slowly coming into fruition with 67 yards in Week 2 and another 47 yards and two touchdowns while catching all four of his targets in Sunday’s loss to the Lions. He finished second on the team in catches and receiving yards. Isabella has stepped up nicely in the absence of Christian Kirk who has been out with a groin injury. The dam is going to break eventually and Isabella will see the field at a higher rate and really truly realize his full potential. Why not Week 4? The Cardinals face a Panthers defense that has been….well, not good over the first three weeks and he’s priced at just $4,500 on Draftkings.

Tee Higgins, WR, Bengals

Tee Higgins was the leader in routes run in Cincinnati last week. He participated on 83-percent of Joe Burrow’s dropbacks while Tyler Boyd and AJ Green were both at 80-percent and then there was a huge drop-off down to Auden Tate at 24-percent. He has seen his snap share increase every week. Higgins is a starter in this offense now. He was a Productive prospect coming out of Clemson with an 18.6 (96th-percentile) Breakout Age as a freshman. The No.33 pick caught five of his nine targets for 40 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday’s 23-23 tie against the Eagles with three of those targets coming in the red zone. He gets a Jaguars defense in Week 4 that allowed Ryan Fitzpatrick to set a Dolphins franchise record, completing 90-percent of his pass attempts in Week 3. It might feel like chasing points, but the peripherals say he’s here to stay. At just $4,500 on Draftkings, this future alpha is a nice play in Week 4

Fantasy football

Joe Burrow, QB, Bengals

At QB we’re still playing Joe Burrow. He’s undervalued but putting up QB1 numbers. Burrow is averaging 47 pass attempts per game. He’ll keep smashing in Week 4 against Jacksonville and we’ll keep playing him until Draftkings forces us out of it.

Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers

Going deeper, Justin Herbert is slinging it around in LA. He has some rushing upside and while the Tampa defense is quietly having a great season, this could wind up a shootout with a bunch of fantasy points.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Dolphins

Another shootout could be going down in Miami. I mentioned it when I talked about DeVante Parker, but this Seattle defense has been terrible. Of course, Fitzmagic could turn into Fitztragic at any time and throw six picks, but the cost and matchup is way too good to not have him in a few lineups this week.

David Johnson, RB, Texans

David Johnson is seeing all the touches in the Houston backfield right now. It hasn’t quite translated into fantasy production the last two weeks but that was against Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Things open up in Week 4, though, against a Vikings defense that has allowed a 100-yard rusher in back-to-back games. Johnson’s just $5,600 on Draftkings in a Week he could easily finish in the top 10. He’s a lock in cash.

Mo Allie-Cox, TE, Colts

At tight end this week, we’re rolling with Mo Allie-Cox. The Colts TE has caught 10 of 11 targets this season and has fully locked himself into the No.1 spot on the depth chart. We saw that big breakout in Week 2 when he exploded for 111 yards on five receptions, but that was with Jack Doyle out of the lineup. So we had to see it again with Doyle active. And we did in Week 3 with 52 yards and a score and more importantly he out-snapped Doyle 60% to 53%. The downside is he ran limited routes, but game script likely played a big factor there as the Colts ran away with it early. Alie-Cox gets the Bears in Week 4, a defense that has allowed a TE to find the end zone in two of three games. He’s just $3,900 on Draftkings and we already know he’s capable of exploding at any time.
