DynoGameTheory’s Top-20 Dynasty Rookie Wide Receivers For 2020
The 2020 NFL Draft is just about here and dynasty rookie drafts are shortly thereafter. Therefore, there is no better time to unveil my top 20 rookie wide receivers. So here they are:
1. CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma
Checks every box. Mega producer in college, great breakout age, true-freshman season dominance (800+ yards), 18 career YPR, prototype size, athleticism, and CeeDee has that Alpha swagger. If this kid misses, I will be shocked.

2. Denzel Mims, Baylor
6’3” 207 – 22.6 Yrs Old
I may be prospect-wishing just a little here. But his profile is awesome: Early college dominance, Athletic phenom and he was the clear Alpha at the Senior Bowl this year. Historically, that guy seems to always pop in the NFL.

3. Jerry Jeudy, Alabama
Jeudy may have the safest floor of any prospect. His game translates to the NFL with ease. His comp to Calvin Ridley/Stefon Diggs is an easy one. It would be surprising to see him fall short of that type of player in the NFL.

4. Justin Jefferson, LSU
6’1” 202 – 21.3 Yrs Old
Did the system make him, or did he make the system? Either way, it’s a question worth asking. JJ was only a three-star recruit coming into college and it’s worth wondering if he was just the beneficiary of a historic offense.

5. Bryan Edwards, South Carolina
Any metrics-based analysis worth a damn has Edwards at the top of this class. A 17 year old college breakout star and a perfect NFL body. But his injury and black-box athletic profile have me scared, but just a little.

6. Jalen Reagor, TCU
5’11” 206 – 21.3 Yrs Old
Reagor is a polarizing prospect in this class. Some love him, others don’t see it. I see him as the perfect modern-day receiver. Versatile and athletic. He has the DJ Moore/Deebo Samuel body too. He played in an awful college O.

7. Tee Higgins, Clemson
We have been watching Tee his entire career. Highly recruited and playing for the premier program in the NCAA. Is he slow? Does it matter? I’m not sure, but the upside is tantalizing. Alpha WR profile.

8. Laviska Shenault, Colorado
6’1” 227 – 21.5 Yrs Old
Laviska Shenault has a very high ceiling, and to have a player with a profile this good at WR8 speaks to the depth of this class. Shenault has his share of concerns like injuries and a limited route inventory. He is a beast though.
