2026 NFL Week 3 Best Bets

Week 2 was a brutal week across the football landscape. Quarterbacks like Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels will miss time, while Jaxson Dart was injured Monday night and is out for the year. We saw more blowout wins, where Carolina and San Francisco thumped divisional opponents. Las Vegas and Cleveland managed to pull the upset on the road as heavy underdogs. And there will be plenty of action this week across the NFL landscape. Here are my favorite week 3 NFL bets.

Week 2: 2-2 (-0.28 units)

Seattle Seahawks (2-0) vs. Washington Commanders (0-2)

Washington +7; O/U 40.5

Seattle -7 (-115)

A cross country kickoff for the Seahawks, where they will start the game at 10 AM local time. Mike Macdonald has done well preparing his teams for road trips since arriving in 2024, going 13-4-1 ATS, including a 7-3-1 record when favored on the road. For Washington, Jayden Daniels will miss some time after re-dislocating his left elbow. Washington’s offense ranked 3rd on the ground through the first two weeks, but this was in large part due to Daniels’ mobility. Their running back room has totaled just 211 yards on 51 carries (4.14 YPC) through the first two weeks. Meanwhile, Seattle has the best pass defense in the league through two weeks, allowing just 249 total passing yards, and the lowest quarterback rating at 59. For comparison, Washington’s pass defense has the worst quarterback rating mark in the league at 137.1. I like Seattle to cover the number.

Baltimore Ravens (1-1) vs. Dallas Cowboys (1-1)*

Since last Thanksgiving to the beginning of week three, when a game total has opened above 50, the over has cashed in 11 of 14. And while Lamar Jackson and the Ravens did not cash on their team total last week, they still average 28.6 PPG in 19 games against the NFC since 2021. For Dak Prescott and the Cowboys, going back to 2021, they average just under 27 PPG in 22 contests against the AFC. Dallas’s pass defense ranks 27th in the league, while Baltimore ranks 14th in two games after playing Daniel Jones and Tyler Shough. I think this has the capability of being high scoring, and the over cashing in this week’s international game.

(Monday) Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) vs. Chicago Bears (1-1)

Chicago +4.5; O/U 41.5

Under 41.5 (-115)

Entering week three, standalone games this year are 5-2 to the under. It is likely we will see Tyson Bagent or third string Case Keenum at quarterback for the injured Caleb Williams. Before Williams’ exited last week’s game with a leg injury, the Bears took a major step back from the 59-point, 552 yard performance in the opener. While conditions were difficult, Chicago averaged just 4.2 YPP last week against Minnesota; only nine of those plays were with Bagent under center.

For Philadelphia, in last year’s seven standalone games, they averaged just 18.6 PPG. This year, they have averaged just 5.3 YPP against Washington and Tennessee. Over 19 drives in two games, they have just 48 points (2.53 points per drive). Saquon Barkley is also banged up entering this game. I think this falls under the total to close week 3 of the NFL.

Cleveland vs. Carolina +124

While we missed last week on choosing Atlanta to upset the road favorite Panthers, Carolina finds themselves this week again as a road favorite. With the win last week, the Panthers are now 5-20 when Bryce Young starts at quarterback on the road. I’ll take Todd Monken and the new day Browns to pull the slight home upset.

Las Vegas @ New Orleans +154

I’m probably late to the party by jumping on Las Vegas in week three. But I love what Klint Kubiak has done in the first few weeks as head coach. While with a different team, Cousins went 3-1 over the last two years against the Saints when he was with Atlanta. I’ll take the Raiders to go 3-0.
