Week 16 DraftKings Cash Games
Winning Week 16 Cash Games On DraftKings
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP even if its a small one. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you could’ve won a GPP.
QB
It’s another Week where there’s really not a lot of strong Cash options at QB.
Anthony Richardson $5,400
I don’t love Richardson as a Cash option but at this salary he doesn’t need much to pay off. His rushing adds a bit of a floor and the Titans have allowed the 9th most rushing yards to opposing QBs. He’s home in a dome so it makes sense.
Michael Penix Jr $4,500
We don’t know what Penix is gonna be but we don’t know he has good weapons and an incredible matchup at home in a dome against the decimated/terrible Giants defense. People have tried to dive down to this salary a few times this year in cash and this is has to be the best situation for doing so.
RB
Chase Brown $7,700
Brown Has been phenomenal since taking over as the lead back in Cincy. He’s averaged 23.7 DraftKings points since Week 9 scoring at least 19 points in every one of those games. The Bengals should be in a positive game script as 8.5 point favorites at home. Cleveland has allowed four rushing TDs over their last three games.
Jahmyr Gibbs $7,500
Gibbs seems to get there every week and now gets to be the workhorse with Montgomery out for the rest of the season. He’s scored six TDs over the last five weeks and is RB5 on the season and that’s with Monty in the lineup.
James Conner $7,100
Conner is already the workhorse and now Benson is hurt and Demarcado is as well. There’s no competition for touches in an incredible matchup. Carolina has given up the most points to opposing RBs by quite a bit this season. Conner also has at least three receptions in six straight games.
Chuba Hubbard $6,800
The Cardinals haven’t been all that great defending the run themselves. Chuba will get plenty of opportunities. He’s averaged 20 opportunities per game and is also tied for 3rd in goaline carries this season.
If Pollard sits Tyjae Spears would be a cheap RB option.
WR
Brian Thomas Jr $6,300
Thomas has double digit targets in three straight games. He has the 3rd most targets over the last three weeks and a 31% target share. He is the focal point of this offense and has had healthy yardage totals of 82, 76, 86 and 105 over the last four Weeks. Oh and he gets to play the Vegas defense.
Jauan Jennings $5,900
Jennings has seen a 20+% target share in six straight games. Miami was a difficult matchup for WRs but has regressed in that department. They’ve allowed the 6th most points to opposing WRs over the last four weeks.
Jakobi Meyers $5,800
Meyers has 45 targets since Week 12 which is 2nd most among WRs over that span. He has a 30% target share and is 2nd in air yards in those games. Jacksonville is dead last in yards and TDs allowed through the air.
DJ Moore $5,700/Keenan Allen $5,300
Detroit’s defense has been decimated by injuries and they’ve been susceptible through the air. They’ve allowed the 2nd most receptions and 3rd most yards to opposing WRs. I prefer Moore but would be fine with Allen if you need the savings.
Malik Washington $3,700
Washington saw six targets last week and will get an uptick in opportunities with Waddle injured and Tyreek banged up. Washington will even get some rushing attempts from time to time and McDaniel could look to get him the ball in space.
TE
Trey McBride $6,200
McBride has 51 targets and a 35% target share over the last four weeks. He leads the league in receptions and has the 5th most yards over that span. Carolina has given up the most points to opposing TEs this season.
Brenton Strange $3,500
There’s not a ton of value at TE on this slate. With Engram out Strange should continue to see a healthy target share. I wouldn’t expect 11 receptions every week but he’s definitely Cash Viable.
DEF
CIN $3,300
IND $3,000
TEN $2,600
