Winning Week 15 Cash Games on Draftkings
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP even if its a small one. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you could’ve won a GPP.
QB
Tua Tagovailoa $6,100
Tua has been greatrecently throwing for at least 317 yards in three straight games. He has the most passing attempts and yards over that span. He’s thrown for multiple TDs in four straight games. He also gets to play in a dome with a 46.5 game total.
Kyler Murray $6,000
QB is tricky for Cash this week and despite being very inconsistent Kyler is a Cash Option this at home as a favorite with the 3rd highest implied team total. New England has allowed 10 passing TDs in their last three games.
RB
Chase Brown $7,200
Brown is underpriced relative to his workload. Since Week 9 he’s averaged 23.1 DraftKings points per game which is 2nd most among RBs. Over that span he’s averaged 17.6 rush attempts and 7 targets. The Bengals season is on the line and Brown should get plenty of opportunities as five point favorites on the road.
Chuba Hubbard $6,500
Carolina is actually favored at home against a abysmal Cowboys team. With Brooks out Chuba resumes his role as an absolute workhorse. It would honestly be surprising if he doesn’t see 20 opportunities. He had 30 touches last week. Chuba has the 6th most carries and rushing yards at this point of the season.
Rico Dowdle $6,100
In the same game Dowdle gets to face a rather terrible defense going against Carolina. In his last three games Dowdle has averaged 20 carries and just under three targets. He’s had at least 18 carries in three straight games and has averaged 109.7 rush yds over that span. He trails only Barkley in rushing yards over the last three weeks.
Rachaad White $5,800
White is absolutely in play and especially if Bucky has to sit. As of now it looks like that could be a game time decision. He obviously thrives in PPR scoring which helps against a Chargers defense that has no problem allowing catches to opposing RBs.
Tyjae Spears $4,300
This one is simple if Pollard can’t go you get a starting RB at $4.3k.
WR
Courtland Sutton $6,600
Sutton has absolutely become Cash viable. Sutton has at least six receptions in six straight games. On a per game basis, Sutton is tied for the 3rd most targets, receptions and the 5th most receiving yards since Week 8.
Ladd McConkey $6,300
This comes down to health but if Ladd can play he’s a great Cash play. He’s had at least six receptions in three straight games with yardage totals of 123, 83 and 117 in those games. Tampa has allowed the 3rd most yards through the air this season.
Jerry Jeudy $6,200
Elijah Moore $5,000
Jameis is gonna throw and Tillman/Njoku are out. Double digit targets for each of these guys is basically a guarantee. The Chiefs have been much easier to pass on recently. There are some weather concerns that could hurt the ceiling of this game but the volume definitely makes them cash plays.
Brian Thomas Jr $5,800
Mac Jones and thebJets defense don’t exactly scream good play but Jones has been better recently and the Jets are dead. Thomas has double digit targets in back to back games. He had a career/season high eight receptions last week and his target share should increase with Evan Engram out.
Adam Thielen $5,400
Thielen is coming off back to back games with double digit targets as well and looks to be the go to WR for Young. In those games he had eight receptions for 99 yards and nine receptions for 102 yards. Dallas has allowed the 3rd most receptions and 3rd most receiving yards over the last four weeks.
TE
Trey McBride $6,100
McBride is basically the Cardinals entire passing attack. Target totals of 14, 12 and 15 over the last three weeks with 31 receptions over that span. New England has given up 10 TDs through the air over their last three games.
Zach Ertz $4,000
Ertz has been heavily involved already and should receive an even larger target share with Ekeler and now Noah Brown out of the lineup.
Stone Smart $2,600
Everyone likes a punt TE right? A starting TE at this salary provides a lot of options in your lineup and doesn’t take a lot to pay off.
