Week 18 Draftkings Lineup Construction

For Week 18, I will help you construct your lineups through the analogy of building a house. Each section/room will consist of my favorite plays that fit the criteria.

OVERVIEW

As expected Week 18 is absolute chaos with a number of teams resting players and others with nothing to play for. As a result there are plenty of cheap plays that can open up lineup possibilities. Keep in mind that just because a team still has playoff aspirations it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll be successful. More than most weeks late swap possibilities will be in play with seven games in the late window.

Foundation– these are my core guys that I am building around. The players I’ll have the most exposure to.

QB

Justin Fields $7,200
DK Ownership

Fields is basically playing for his job. Whether it be with the Bears or another team, Fields will look to put a cap on the season against their division rival. He’s thrown a TD in four straight games and has a rushing TD in three of his last four games. He leads all QBs in rush attempts over the last four weeks.

Tyrod Taylor $5,300
DK Ownership 5%

Taylor went off last week throwing for 319 yards. While I’m not expecting 300 yards it’s certainly in the cards against the Eagles who have allowed the most pass attempts and points to opposing QBs this season. They’ve allowed the 6th most passing TDs overthe last six weeks. Tyrod also offers a bit of a floor with his rushing. He’s averaged 28.6 rush yards over his last five games.

 

RB

Ken Walker $6,500
DK Ownership

Walker gets to face the Cardinals who have been awful defensively. They’ve allowed the most rushing yards and points to opposing RBs this season. Walker has averaged 15 carries over the last three weeks. He’s scored a TD in two of his last three and has at least three receptions in three of his last four games.

Zhamir White $6,000
DK Ownership 25%

White has averaged 19.7 carries over the last three games. He has the 4th most rushing yards over that span. Vegas has allowed 122 rushing yards per game and have allowed five catches per game to opposing RBs this season.

 

WR

DJ Moore $7,000
DK Ownership 12%

Moore has a 28% target share and 43% of the team’s air yards. He’s averaging 14.1 yards per reception. It just so happens that over the last four weeks Green Bay is allowing 14.1 yards per reception to WRs. They’re also bottom four in points allowed to opposing WRs over that span.

Darius Slayton $4,000
DK Ownership 4%

Tyrod is perfect for Slayton. He throws a good deep ball and more importantly is willing to take more chances. Slayton has 90 and 106 yards scoring a TD in both games. Philly is dead last in points and TD allowed to opposing WRs this season.

 

TE

Trey McBride $6,000
DK Ownership 18%

Bottom line, McBride is the WR1 for the Cardinals. At least six receptions in five straight games. He has a 26% target share since Kyler has returned.

Juwan Johnson $3,600
DK Ownership 4%

Johnson has been great the last three weeks. He’s scored a TD in three straight games. Last week he had 12 targets, eight receptions and 90 yards all of which were season highs. He is a little banged up but did practice Thursday and Friday. If for any reason he can’t go I’ll pivot to Tucker Kraft for $100 more.

 

Kitchen

These are the guys that EAT!!! Guys on the slate that have the most opportunities.
