Week 16 DraftKings Cash Game Breakdown
Week 16 Draftkings Cash Game Breakdown
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Justin Fields $7,100
Fields gets to face the Cardinals who are just downright terrible. Fields has struggled against pressure and luckily the Cardinals don’t get any. He’s averaging 12.25 carries and 62.75 rushing yards over his last four games.
Nick Mullens $5,300
There’s not a ton of cheap plays on the slate so if you’re looking to pay down Mullens is likely the choice. He threw for 300 yards and two TDs last week. This game has the 2nd highest total on the slate. The Lions are a pass funnel and have allowed the 2nd most points to opposing QBs since Week 10.
RB
Rachaad White $7,400
White has an elite workload averaging 24.3 opportunities over the last three weeks. He’s had at least 84 yards rushing and has scored in each of those three games. He’s averaging 19.9 DraftKings points since Week 7. The Jaguars are allowing the most receptions per game to opposing RBs.
Bijan Robinson $6,300
Its sketchy with Arthur Smith but last week was an odd one. There were torrential downpours and Bijan fumbled but after losing to one of the worst teams in the league, I expect Arthur to go back to his best player. When he did this earlier this season, Bijan got 23 touches in the next game. The Colts have allowed the 4th most points to opposing RBs.
Chuba Hubbard $5,700
Hubbard has become THE guy in Carolina. He has three straight games with 25 opportunities and at least 96 yards from scrimmage. Since Week 10, Green Bay has allowed over five yards per carry and a league high six rushing TDs.
Ty Chandler $5,600
Chandler had a career day last week with 132 rush yards and a TD. With a lack of value and strong options at RB on this slate, Chandler makes a lot of sense. With no Mattison, he’ll get all the work and is a capable pass catcher with great speed.
WR
Justin Jefferson $8,100
I’m not making a statistical case here. It’s Justin Jefferson at a salary discount against a bad pass defense. It’s that simple.
DJ Moore $6,900
Moore gets to play this awful Cardinals defense. Moore has a 27.5% target share, has been targeted on 24% of his routes and is averaging 14 yards per reception. If you’re using Fields it makes perfect sense to pair him with Moore.
Garrett Wilson $5,800
Wilson is basically the Jets entire offense. He has a 30% target share and has been targeted on a healthy 26% of his routes run. To say the Commanders are bad on defense would be quite an understatement. They’ve allowed the 2nd most passing yards and a league high 32 receiving TDs.
Romeo Doubs $5,300
Watson will likely miss another game, Reed hasn’t practiced all week and Wicks may be the only option at WR for the Packers.
Parker Washington $3,800
Kirk is out, Jones is out so Washington will be relied upon here. He had six targets last week and scored a TD in each of the previous two games. Tampa is a passing funnel so the Jags should be throwing often.
TE
Trey McBride $5,700
Until DraftKings raises his price you should be playing McBride. He has at least seven receptions in three straight games and with Marquise Brown out his usage will only increase. The Bears have allowed the 3rd most points to opposing TEs this season.
Tucker Kraft $3,700
Kraft has been a useful TE the last few weeks. He has four catches and at least 57 yards in two straight games. He’s scored too TDs in his last four games. With all the Packers receivers banged up he should be relied upon heavily.
DEF
NYJ $3,100
CHI $2,800
