Week 7 Draftkings Cash Game Breakdown

Week 7 DraftKings Cash Game Breakdown

Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.

I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.

QB

Patrick Mahomes $8,300

Mahomes hasn’t had the explosion games we’re used to but still warrants this price tag. I’m not gonna make statistical cases for him other than pointing out that the Chargers are bottom ten in passing yards and TDs allowed. The Chiefs have the highest implied team total and this game has by far the highest total on an awful slate.

Geno Smith $6,000

Geno hasn’t been anything special this year but has been fine. He’s thrown for 320 yards in two of his five games. Seattle has the 2nd highest implied team total on the slate. Arizona is allowing eight yards per pass attempt and the 4th most points to opposing QBs.

RB

Josh Jacobs $7,400

Jacobs leads the league in targets and receiving yards among RBs. He has the 2nd most rushing attempts over the last four weeks. He’s tied for the 3rd most rushing attempts inside the 10 yard line. Chicago has allowed the 4th most points to opposing RBs.

Ken Walker $7,000

Fantasy football

Walker has handled 90% of the backfield touches this season. He has at least 17 carries in each if of his last four games and has scored a TD in all of them. He’s forced the most missed tackles in the league. Arizona has allowed the 3rd most points to opposing RBs this season.

Isiah Pacheco $6,100

Pacheco has turned into a workhorse for the Chiefs. He has at least 15 carries in each of his last four games and has averaged 16.75 carries over that span. He saw a career high six targets last week and caught all six of them. The Chiefs are heavy favorites at home with the highest implied team total in the game with the highest total on the slate.

D’Onta Foreman $4,800

Roschon Johnson has not passed through concussion protocol and will be out for this game. Foreman is a cheap option that will get plenty of work against a sub par defense.

WR

Cooper Kupp $9,500

Kupp is just an absolute monster. He has a 39% target share. He’s averaging a ridiculous 17.7 yards per reception. He’s averaged 7.5 catches and 133 yards in his first two games back.

Stefon Diggs $8,900

Diggs has been incredible. He has a 34% target share on the year. He has double digit targets in four of six games. Diggs has the 2nd most air yards this season. He’s averaging 103 yards yards per game.

Tyler Lockett $6,000

Obviously playing Geno, Walker and Lockett isn’t a great idea for Cash. If you’re using Geno it makes sense to go Lockett. Arizona has allowed the 3rd most yards to opposing WRs.

Zay Flowers $5,700

Flowers has a 28% target share and is averaging eight targets per game. Detroit is far better defending the run compared to the pass and the Ravens should choose to go with a pass heavy attack. His ADOT has also basically doubled over the last three weeks.

Marquise Brown $5,300

Brown has double digit targets in three straight games and in four of his last five. He has a 28% target share and has been targeted on 27% if his routes. They’re not short targets either. He has an ADOT of 12.9 yards and has the 6th most air yards in the league.

WanDale Robinson $3,800

WanDale had a season high eight targets last week and caught all of them. He’s had at least six targets in three straight games. He has a 21% target share. Washington has allowed the most yards, yards per reception and TDs to opposing WRs this season.

TE

Logan Thomas $3,500

Thomas fell flat last week but had 11 targets the previous week. The Giants are tied for the 2nd most yards per reception allowed to opposing TEs this season.

Luke Musgrave $3,300

Musgrave has at least seven targets in two of his last three games. Denver has allowed themost receiving yards and 2nd most yards per reception to opposing TEs this season.

DEF

CLE $3,100

BAL $2,500

KC $2,400
