Week 2 Draftkings Cash Game Breakdown
Week 2 DraftKings Cash Game Breakdown
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.

QB
Josh Allen $7,900
Allen has the highest ceiling and floor at QB on the slate. His rushing provides that safe floor. They get to play Vegas who’s coming across the country to play in an early game. Buffalo has the highest implied team total on the slate and I expect them to come out and make a statement after Monday’s debacle.
Trevor Lawrence $6,700
Lawrence looked good in Week 1 and now plays in the game with the highest over/under on the slate. Lawrence had a healthy 33 pass attempts last week and against a high powered offense at home it’s safe to assume that number increases this week. He completed 75% of his passes. With his efficiency, a plethora of weapons and the highest total on the slate, Lawrence is a great cash option.
Anthony Richardson $6,300
Richardson lead the league in rush attempts for QBs last week and more importantly designed QB runs. Houston is terrible defending the run and they allowed three rushing TDs last week. He completed 65% of his 37 pass attempts as well which is very encouraging considering the concerns about his accuracy.

RB
Christian McCaffrey $8,900
If you’re paying up there is no better option than CMC. He has the highest ceiling/floor combo. He had 22 carries and three receptions last week. His floor is 20 touches and the 49ers have the 3rd highest implied team total on the slate.
David Montgomery $5,800
Under $5k for a back with this amount of usage is Cash Game Gold. Montgomery had 21 carries and got the bulk of the goaline work as well. Seattle allowed three rushing TDs last week. Detroit has the 4th highest implied team total and this game has the 2nd highest total of the week.
Rachaad White $5,500
White was not efficient at all last week but gets a much better matchup this week. Aaron Jones tore the Bears defense up last week. Most of his production came in the pass game where White is more than capable. Rachaad had 19 touches last week and really doesn’t have anyone pushing for touches behind him. The price/workload are perfect for Cash.
Josh Kelley $5,000
Ekeler is dealing with an ankle injury and hasn’t been practicing. If he sits Kelley will see a monster work load on an efficient offense. He’s a great salary saver for Cash.
WR
Stefon Diggs $8,000
Diggs had an impressive performance against an incredible defense last week. He had 10 catches on 13 targets for 102 yards and a TD. His target volume alone warrants a look at cash but a much easier matchup at home helps. If he didn’t play on Monday Night he’d likely be at a higher salary.
Amon Ra St Brown $7,800
Amon Ra’s stat line of nine targets(28% target share), six catches 71 yards and a TD is basically his floor every week. He should see double digit targets on most weeks. The Seahawks were just torched by Puca Nacua and Tutu Atwell sooooo, yeah.
Calvin Ridley $7,200
Ridley put any concerns about how he’d look to bed. Last week he had 11 targets which was a 34% target share and was targeted on 33% of his routes. Eight catches 101 yards and a TD. Now he faces a KC in a game with an over/under over 50 points.
Deebo Samuel $5,600
Aiyuk was the star last week but Deebo finished with only one less target. He had six targets and two rushing attempts. The Rams play a lot of zone coverage which Deebo has been very successful against in the past. Bottom line this salary is too low for a player of Deebo’s caliber.
Tutu Atwell $4,700
Atwell had a great start to the season recording six catches on eight targets for 119 yards. He averaged 19.8 yards per reception, had an ADOT of 14.1 and a ridiculous 3.6 yards per route run. Puca popped up on the injury report with an oblique injury and if he can’t go Tutu is an absolute lock in my lineup.

TE
Zach Ertz $3,500
I know, I know it’s insane that I’m recommending Ertz as a play in 2023 but his role on this offense is secure which is hard to find at TE especially for this price. He had 10 targets last week which was good for a 33% target share.
Adam Trautman $3,000
I honestly think this is a free square. Trautman had five receptions last week and now will be the every down TE with Dulcich out. He caught all five of his targets last week. The volume/salary combo is a perfect pair for Cash Games.
DEF
TB $3,200
NYJ $2,800
ARI $2,600
