Wild Card weekend definitely had some wild games. We’ll see if the Divisional Round has as much excitement. The game totals are higher than we’ve had in recent weeks. On shorter slates it makes sense to overload on a specific game in hopes that it’s the highest scoring. While that’s still a viable option, it could make sense to target several pieces in several games considering the totals. Lets get into my favorite plays and some ways to get different.
Saturday
JAX @ KC: KC -9 Over/Under: 52.5
NYG @ PHI: PHI -7.5 Over/Under: 48
Sunday
CIN @ BUF: BUF -5.5 Over/Under: 49
DAL @ SF: SF -4 Over/Under: 46.5
QB
Patrick Mahomes $8,000
Mahomes lead the league in passing yards and passing TDs. He was the only QB with over 5,000 yards. The Chiefs have the highest implied team total on the slate.
Jalen Hurts $7,600
Hurts finished with 13 rushing TDs which was tied for 2nd most with Derrick Henry and Austin Ekeler. He also threw multiple TDs in eight of his fifteen games. He threw two TDs and ran for 77 yards and a TD in week 14 against the Giants. The Giants were bottom 10 in rushing yards allowed to QBs.
Daniel Jones $5,800
Jones has averaged 30.6 DraftKings points over his last three games. He ran for the 2nd most rushing yards and had the 4th most designed runs among QBs.
Brock Purdy $5,400
Purdy threw multiple TDs in seven straight games. He threw for three TDs in each of his last two games. Dallas has allowed the most passing yards over theblast four weeks. Purdy’s price/weapons combo is too good to pass up.
RB
Christian McCaffrey $8,000
Duh
Saquon Barkley $7,900
Barkley has scored 23 or more DraftKings points in three of hisblast four games. He’s scored four TDs over that span. The Eagles have allowed 112 yards from scrimmage to opposing RBs over their last four games.
Jerick McKinnon $6,000
McKinnon scored a TD in six straight games to finish the season. He had nine TDs over that span. Jacksonville has allowed 7.1 yards per reception to opposing RBs over their last four games.
Miles Sanders $5,700
Sanders hasn’t had many good games lately. It just so happens his last good game was against the Giants in Week 14. He ran for 144 yards and two TDs. A lot of people may not realize but Sanders finished with the 4th most rushing TDs this season. The Eagles are favored by over a TD and will be running quite a bit in the 2nd half.
WR
JaMarr Chase $7,800
Chase has at least 12 targets in five straight games. He has at least seven catches in six straight games. He’s also scored a TD in four of his last five games. The Bills have allowed 13.3 yards per reception over the last six weeks.
AJ Brown $7,600
Brown averaged a ridiculous 17 yards per reception this season. He had the 4th most receiving yards despite catching less than 90 balls.
Devonta Smith $7,200
Smith had at least seven catches in each of his last three games. He finished the season with more catches than AJ Brown and had the ninth most receiving yards.
Deebo Samuel $5,800
Its ridiculous that DraftKings only raised his price $100 after his performance last week. Dallas has allowed the most yards and receiving TDs to opposing WRs over the last six weeks.
Isaiah Hodgins $4,900
Hodgins has scored a TD in five of his last six games. He’s had eight catches in two of his last three games.
TE
Travis Kelce $7,700
Kelce finished the season with the 3rd most receptions and fifth most targets of any player. He’s pretty good.
Dawson Knox $4,000
While he doesn’t have a ton of upside, Knox is heavily involved in the redzone. He’s scored a TD in five straight games.
DEF
SF $3,600
BUF $3,300
BAL $2,500
