Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Patrick Mahomes $8,300
Mahomes obviously has the upside but the floor has been great. He’s averaging 369.8 yards over his last five games. He’s thrown multiple TDs in all but three games.
Joe Burrow $6,900
Burrow has thrown multiple TDs in all but four games. JaMarr Chase will be back in this game which has the highest total on the slate. In Week 17 last year, Burrow threw for 447 yards and four TDs. He has at least 35 pass attempts in nine of eleven games this season.
Trevor Lawrence $5,900
I personally won’t be going here since there’s likely enough value at other positions but Lawrence is a viable pay down option. He has back to back games with over 250 yards passing and multiple passing TDs. The Lions are the worst defense against opposing QBs this season.
RB
There are a lot of injuries to Monitor that can open up value at the position so keep an eye on inactives
Austin Ekeler $8,500
Ekeler has the most targets and receptions among RBs by far. He has the 4th most receptions of any position. The Raiders have allowed 8.4 yards per reception and the most receiving yards to RBs this season.
David Montgomery $6,200
Montgomery has resumed his workhorse roll since Herbert has been out. He has back to back games with at least 17 touches. He has over 100 yards from scrimmage and four targets in each of those games. Green Bay allows five yards per carry and has allowed the most rushing yards to opposing RBs this season.
Brian Robinson $5,300
I like Robinson far better if Gibson is ruled out but he is a worthy play regardless. He’s averaged 18 carries over his last four games. The Giants have allowed the 2nd most yards per carry and the most yards per reception to RBs this season.
Zonovan Knight $4,600
It’s rare that we get a sub $5k RB and Knight is just that. Michael Carter is listed as doubtful. Last week Knight had 14 carries and three receptions resulting in over 100 yards from scrimmage.
WR
Amon Ra St Brown $7,100
St Brown is averaging 8.7 receptions and 105.7 yards over his last three games. He has the 5th most targets and the 2nd most receptions over the last five weeks. Jacksonville has allowed the 3rd most TDs to opposing WRs.
Keenan Allen $6,500
Allen has five receptions and at least seven targets in back to back games. Over the last four weeks the Raiders have allowed the 4th most receptions to WRs. They’ve allowed over 100 more PPR points to slot receivers compared to outside receivers.
Tyler Lockett $6,000
Lockett’s price has stayed steady and so has his viability as a cash play. He has a 22.7% target share. He has the 4th most TDs among WRs this season.
Garrett Wilson $5,300
Wilson has over 90 receiving yards in three of his last four games and showed some rapport with Mike White last week. Over the last four weeks, the Vikings have allowed the most yards and 3rd most receptions to opposing WRs.
Zay Jones $4,900
Zay Jones is coming off a monster game with 11 catches for 145 yards. He had eight catches in his previous game. He has double digit targets in three of his last five games. The Lions have allowed the 3rd most yards to opposing WRs this season.
Nico Collins $4,200
Collins has averaged 8.7 targets, has at five receptions and at least 44 yards over his last three games. He’s averaged 13.1 yards per reception and the Browns allow 13.3 yards per reception this season. Brandin Cooks has already been ruled out.
If you need an absolute punt I think Sky Moore $3,100 is in play. He has back to back games with six targets and five receptions. They’ve designed screens and plays to get the ball in his hands in space. Oh and his QB is pretty.
TE
Travis Kelce $7,900
Kelce is the 3rd highest scoring pass catcher this season. Only Diggs and Jefferson have more PPR points. He leads the league in receiving TDs. He has a 24.7% target share yada yada yada.
Foster Moreau $3,600
Hayden Hurst $3,500
They’re going to be involved and are cheap TE options in great game environments with high totals.
