Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers
262.5 pass yards: UNDER
You know things are bad in Green Bay when we’re taking the under against a terrible Lions defense. But that’s where we are. The Packers will lean on the run game and limit its reliance on Aaron Rodgers and this receiving corps.
Aaron Jones, RB, Packers
100.5 rush + receiving yards: OVER
Like I said with Rodgers, the Packers will likely lean on the run game quite heavily in this one against a Lions defense that has struggled to stop anyone. Unless Jared Goff and company get hot on the other side, there will be little incentive to pass.
Austin Ekeler, RB, Chargers
55.5 rush yards: OVER
Keenan Allen is out. Mike Williams is out. Donald Parham is out. The Chargers are going to lean heavily on Austin Ekeler this week.
TJ Hockenson, TE, Vikings
34.5 receiving yards: UNDER
I love the move to add TJ Hockenson for the Vikings and I think he’ll be integrated into the offense quite heavily in the second half of the season. However, it’s a lot to expect a guy who has been with the team for less than a week to have a significant role already.
Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals
68.5 rush yards: UNDER
I keep saying Mixon is going to get it going. The usage has been really good (mostly). But it hasn’t happened yet. The offensive line is still struggling and the Panthers are decent on defense. He might get close to this number, but Mixon has only reached 65+ yards twice in eight games.
Josh Jacobs, RB, Raiders
76.5 rush yards: OVER
Josh Jacobs had a stretch of three-straight games with over 140 rushing yards before crashing down to a season-low 43 in Week 8. The Raiders got down to a quick 17-0 deficit and abandoned the run game early. I expect Jacobs will get it back going in Week 9 in what should be a more run-friendly game script vs Jacksonville.
Sam Ehlinger, QB, Colts
202.5 pass yards: UNDER
The Colts didn’t let Ehlinger throw it much in his first start. That’s unlikely to change against a Patriots defense that just picked off Zach Wilson three times.
Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Patriots
89.5 rush + receiving yards: OVER
The Patriots keep leaning on Rhamondre Stevenson. That won’t stop this week especially after Damien Harris missed most of the week of practice due to an illness. Stevenson’s heavy involvement as both a rusher and receiver will help him easily crush this over.
Darnell Mooney, WR, Bears
43.5 receiving yards: OVER
We know the Dolphins are going to put up some points in this one. Chicago will have to lean on Mooney to make some splash plays to keep up. He could hit the over on this in one play.
