Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Jalen Hurts $8,300
Hurts has the most rushing attempts among QBs despite not playing this week. He also has the 2nd most rushing TDs of any position. The Steelers have allowed the 3rd most passing yards and TDs this season.
Tua Tagovailoa $6,200
The Lions have allowed the 2nd highest yards per attempt and get virtually zero pressure. The Dolphins have the highest implied team total and Tua has two weapons that can explode on any play.
Sam Ehlinger $4,000
It’s beyond rare to get a QB at $4k. He will run quite a bit that provides a bit of a floor and Washington doesn’t exactly scare you on defense. The savings allows you so many options for your lineup.
RB
Josh Jacobs $7,500
This price is waay too low for what Jacobs has been doing. Over his last three games he’s averaged 23 carries, 147 yards and two TDs. He’s had at least three catches in four straight games.
Ken Walker $6,500
Another price thats too low, Walker has scored a TD in three straight. He’s averaged 6 yards a carry and 117.7 yards a game since Penny went down. The Giants have allowed a league high 7.9 yards per carry over the last two weeks.
Tony Pollard $6,100
There’s no Zeke play Pollard. That’s it.
Raheem Mostert $5,900
Mostert has at least 15 touches in four straight games. Hes out touched Edmknds 71-19 in those games. Detroit has allowed the most rushing TDs this season.
D’Onta Foreman $5,300
With McCaffrey out of town, Foreman played 54% of snaps and out carried Hubbard 15 to 9. He was extremely effective running for 118 yards. In games where he has received 15+ carries he’s averaged 107.2 rushing yards. Hubbard has been ruled out.
WR
Tyreek Hill $8,500
Tyreek leads the league in receptions, yards(by over 100) and 2nd in air yards. He’s had at least 12 targets in five of his seven games. I don’t think anyone has a higher upside this week.
DeAndre Hopkins $7,400
Hopkins returned last week with 14 targets which was a 48% target share. While that won’t happen every week he should easily see double digit targets each week. The Vikings have allowed the 3rd highest yards per reception.
Tyler Lockett $6,500
Lockett has been a cash game option numerous weeks this season but its hard to make a better case for him this week if DK is out. He’s averaged over eight targets a game and will easily see double digits if DK is out.
Chris Olave $6,000
Olave had 14 targets last week. He’s had at least 13 targets in half of his games this season. Averaging 82 yards per game. He still has the most air yards in the league.
DJ Moore $5,300
Its gross but from a cash game standpoint Moore is viable. There is legitimately nobody else to throw to. Last week he saw double digit targets for the 2nd time this season which was a 47% target share. He also had a season high seven catches. Atlanta has allowed the most points to WRs this season.
Wan’Dale Robinson $4,700
Robinson scored a TD in the first game of his career while playing 25% of snaps. He jumped to 69% last week and increased his routes run from 9 to 29. He should be the focal point of the Giants’ passing game.
TE
Pat Freiermuth $3,900
Freiermuth returned last week with nine targets, eight receptions for 75 yards. He has at least 75 yards or a TD in four of his six games.
Irv Smith $3,500
Irv gets to face the Cardinals who have been hemorrhaging points to the TE. This game has an over under of 49 and the Vikings have the 3rd highest team total on the slate.
