Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Josh Allen $8,000
Allen has back to back games with three passing TDs. He’s averaged 32.7 DraftKings points over his last three games. He’s averaged 66 rushing yards over that span. Atlanta has allowed the 2nd most passing TDs per game this season.
Jalen Hurts $6,600
Hurts has multiple passing and or rushing TDs in 10 of his 14 games. He’s averaging 53 rushing yards per game. Washington is allowing the most passing TDs per game this season.
Trey Lance $4,800
In the two games where he played this season, Lance had 20.4 and 15.6 DraftKings points. That’s more than adequate for his price. He threw two TDs and rushed for 130 yards in those games. Houston has allowed the 2nd most rushing yards per game this season.
RB
Jonathan Taylor $9,000
Taylor has over 100 rushing yards in three straight games. He leads the NFL in rushing by almost 500 yards. He’s averaging 24.9 DraftKings points per game. The Raiders have allowed the 2nd most rushing TDs per game over the last three games.
David Montgomery $6,500
Over his last five games, Montgomery is averaging 23 touches and 93 total yards. He’s had at least six receptions in three of his last four games. The Giants are bottom seven in rushing yards per game allowed.
Ronald Jones $6,100
Jones will likely have 20 carries against the Jets. Need I say more?
Sony Michel $5,800
Sony has averaged 22 carries and 105 rushing yards over the last four games. The Rams have been more committed to the run over the last three weeks, running the ball on 45% of the time compared to 40% on the season. The Ravens are bottom seven in points per game allowed to RBs over the last four weeks.
Devin Singletary $5,400
Singletary has at least 17 touches in his last two games. He’s scored a TD in back to back games. He’s scored no less than 15 DraftKings points in each of his last three games.
WR
Cooper Kupp $9,500
Kupp leads the league in targets, receptions, receiving yards and TDs. He’s averaging 28 DraftKings points per game. Play him.
Jaylen Waddle $6,700
Waddle has no less than eight receptions in each of his last four games. He’s averaging 23.9 DraftKings points per game over that span. The Titans have allowed the 2nd most points per game to WRs this season.
Antonio Brown $6,100
Brown returned last week and saw 15 targets in the absence of Evans and Godwin. In the three games prior to his injury, he averaged 10.7 targets, 7.7 receptions and 93 receiving yards. Aaaand he’s playing the Jets.
DJ Moore $5,600
Moore has no less than 10 targets in each of his last four games. That provides a safe floor and Darnold starting can only improve Moore’s upside. The Saints are bottom 10 in points per game allowed to WRs this season.
Braxton Berrios $3,700
Berrios has back to back games with a TD, one of which was a kick return. He had a 29% target share last week. Crowder hasn’t practiced all week so Berrios should see a similar share as significant underdogs.
TE
Foster Moreau $3,800
Foster has back to back games with 60 yards. The Colts allow the 3rd most points per game to TEs this season.
John Bates $2,900
Bates played on 75% of snaps last week compared to Seals Jones only playing 45%. He’s averaged 19.3 yards per catch over the last four games. The Eagles give up the most points per game to TEs this season.
