Hopefully we can put the madness of Week 15 behind us. Week 16 kicks off with the San Francisco 49ers heading to Tennessee to take on the Titans. The 49ers are coming off a blowout win over the Falcons. That makes five wins in their last six games and good odds of making the playoffs. The Titans lost a close one to the Steelers which knocked them from first to third in the AFC playoff picture.
I don’t see the 49ers losing this one which means I should have some lineups built around the Titans winning. But most of my lineups will have Deebo or Kittle at captain with some cheaper Titans players. I think Foreman will be the most productive Titan. I’m concerned about Wilson going up against this stout Tennessee run defense. I will have some of him but not much.
Injuries to Monitor
Eli Mitchell is dealing with a knee injury and has been ruled out for this game.
Julio Jones left last weeks game with his never ending hamstring injury. He doesn’t have an injury designation which seems odd.
AJ Brown is eligible to return from the IR this week. It will be worth monitoring his practice reports to see his health status. It does seem unlikely that he’ll play.
D’Onta Foreman is dealing with an ankle injury that has him limited at practice and is listed as questionable but should be fine.
Spread: SF -4
Over/Under: 44
Captain/Flex
Deebo Samuel
$17,400/$11,600
Deebo has seven total TDs in his last five games. Six of them are rushing TDs. The goal is simple, get Deebo the ball and let him go. The Titans have allowed the 10th most receiving yards this season.
George Kittle
$16,800/$11,200
Kittle is averaging 15.2 yards per catch and 141.7 yards per game over the last three games. He leads the league in receiving yards over that span.
D’Onta Foreman
$11,400/$7,600
Foreman had 22 carries last week despite only playing 39% of snaps. When he’s in the game he is getting the ball. He’s averaging five yards a touch over the last two weeks.
The Rest
Jimmy Garoppolo $10,400
Garoppolo has thrown multiple TDs in six games this season. The Titans are bottom 10 in points per game allowed to QBs.
Ryan Tannehill $10,000
Tannehill is averaging five yards per carry over the last three games. He’s scored rushing TDs in back to back games. He’s scored a rushing TD in half of his games this season.
Brandon Aiyuk $8,200
In the four games prior to last week, Aiyuk had averaged 7.25 targets. He’s averaging 16.45 yards per reception over his last five games. The Titans are bottom 10 in receiving yards allowed this season.
Julio Jones $6,800
He can obviously leave the game at any minute but should be the top target while hes in there. He’s averaging 14.76 yards per catch this season.
Jeff Wilson $5,200
I don’t really like Wilson’s upside here. Tennessee is great against the run but his price is low and he will see plenty of opportunities. He’s averaged 17 carries over the last two games.
Nick Westbrook Ikhine $5,400
He had seven targets last week and has four games this season with six or more targets. He’s scored there TDs this season and has a game with over 100 yards.
Chester Rogers $4,800
Rogers has four games with at least four receptions. The 49ers have allowed the 4th most points per game to WRs over the last four weeks.
Dontrelle Hilliard $2,800
Hilliard has averaged 11.75 touches over the last four games. If the Titans fall behind he is the preferred pass catcher out of the backfield.
Geoff Swain $3,200
Swain has played no less than 73% of snaps over his last three games. He has five games with at least three receptions.
