I personally am not playing Cash Games this week. It is much more a week for tournaments. I’ll still do my best to provide the best Cash plays this week. If you’d like to get some Christmas shopping done and skip the week altogether I wouldn’t blame ya.
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Kyler Murray $7,900
Kyler has averaged 26.6 DraftKings points per game over the last two games. He has 120 total rushing yards on 17 carries over those games. His highest carry and yardage totals in any two games this year. The Lions have allowed the 5th most rushing yards per game.
Tua Tagovailoa $5,700
Tua has thrown two or more TDs in half of his games. And not much statistical analysis needed he’s playing the Jets at under $6k.
RB
Najee Harris $7,800
Harris is the safest play at RB on the slate in terms of usage. He’s had at least 20 touches in nine games this year. He’s averaging 22.8 touches per week.
Jevonte Williams $6,100
Melvin Gordon $5,900
Pretty much an even split with Gordon getting more goal line work and Williams getting more passing work recently. It may sound crazy but with their guaranteed workload you can use both as your RBs and be on your way. Denver is running on 52% of plays over the last three games which is 3rd most in the league.
Myles Gaskin $5,600
If he plays play him it’s the Jets. Again it’s the Jets.
James Robinson $5,400
Robinson will be popular with the departure of Meyer and I can’t disagree with the sentiment. He has seven rushing TDs this season and is averaging 4.7 yards a carry. Houston is allowing the most rushing yards per game and nearly 200 yards per game over the last three weeks.
D’Onta Foreman $5,100
Foreman has back to back games with at least 15 touches. He’s averaged 4.9 yards per carry in those games. Over the last four weeks, Pittsburgh has allowed the most rushing yards by 130 and the most rushing TDs.
WR
Davante Adams $8,900
Adams has the 3rd most receptions in the league and has a 33% target share. Baltimore is giving up the 2nd most receiving yards per game this season.
Diontae Johnson $7,500
Diontae has double digit targets in five straight games. He’s averaged 92 yards per game over that span. He’s 3rd in the league in targets and has a 29% target share.
Ceedee Lamb $7,400
Lamb has 23 targets in the last two games with seven catches in each of them. He’s even had rushing attempts in three of his last five games. The Giants have allowed the 5th most fantasy points per game to WRs over the last four games.
Cole Beasley $4,900
Coming off a game with 11 targets. He has five games this year with at least 11 targets. He should see at least a 20% target share with no Sanders.
Devante Parker $4,300
Parker is averaging eight targets per game when he plays this season. With no Waddle that is his floor. The Jets have allowed the 2nd most receptions over 20 yards.
TE
Mike Gesicki $5,000
Gesicki is coming off an 11 target game. He’s had six games with five or more receptions. Waddle is out which will increase his target share. The Jets are the Jets sooo.
James O’Shaughnessy $3,200
At least five targets in three straight games. Houston is bottom 10 in fantasy points per game allowed to TEs.
DEF
HOU $2,800
JAX $2,800
NYJ $2,500
