2024 NFL Week 10 Best Bets
2024 NFL Week 10 Best Bets
Now that Week 9 is past us, we are officially halfway through the NFL regular season. As the standings currently sit, there are as many teams with two or fewer losses (7) as there are with seven losses. It’s hectic regardless of where you look in the current standings, but with two months left of the regular season, each week is proving more pivotal towards a playoff push. Here are my favorite Week 10 NFL bets.

Week 9: 1-2 (-1.22 units)
Year to Date: 18-17-1 (-.96 units)
Denver Broncos (5-4) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (8-0)
Kansas City -7.5; O/U 42
Under 42 (-110)
The Chiefs are coming off a short week after an overtime win on Monday night against the Buccaneers. This is just the third time Mahomes faces Sean Payton’s Broncos’ defense; the Chiefs combined for 28 points in the two games last year. The Under is now 9-4 in Arrowhead since the start of last year. In the three home games against AFC West teams in 2023, the game total averaged just 36.3 PPG. In the eight total games against the division, Chiefs game total averages to just 36.1 PPG. I like that trend to continue this week.
San Francisco 49ers (4-4) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5)
Tampa Bay +6.5; O/U 50.5
San Francisco -6.5 (-110)
Tampa Bay is on a short week after a tough overtime loss to the Chiefs, while the Niners are off a bye. Now they welcome a 49ers team that is getting healthy, as they welcome back Christian McCaffrey and Jauan Jennings. Tampa Bay is without their top receivers Chris Godwin and Mike Evans once again. The Bucs have allowed 33 PPG in their last five since the start of October. I like the 49ers in Week 10.
Tennessee Titans (2-6) vs. Los Angeles Chargers (5-3)
Los Angeles -7; O/U 39
Under 39 (-110)
The Under is now 7-1 in Chargers games this year, with no total clearing 40 points. These are two of the slower teams in terms of pace of play, and the Chargers are averaging 21 PPG in since the start of 2023 with Justin Herbert. The Titans have just 15 offensive touchdowns thru eight games, and average just 14.7 PPG in Mason Rudolph’s starts. That includes last week’s overtime win. I like the Under in this matchup.
Outright Underdogs (.5 Units):
Week 9: 0-1 (-.5 units)
Year to Date: 4-11 (-2.74 units)
New Orleans vs. Atlanta +160
Dennis Allen is out and the Saints are getting points as a home underdog in a divisional game. Similar to the Panthers after benching Bryce Young, I’m expecting the Saints to have a mini explosion this week. New Orleans with the upset.
Pittsburgh @ Washington +124
The Steelers are 13-4 with Mike Tomlin off the bye, and 24-5 all-time against rookie quarterbacks. Jayden Daniels and the Commanders have been a great story this year, but this is a tall task. I like the Steelers to pull the upset.
