Key:

Coverage Rating: From PlayerProfiler.com, A comprehensive cornerback efficiency metric incorporating target rate, pass break-ups, catch rate allowed, and fantasy points allowed per snap. Matchups To Exploit

Calvin Ridley, Falcons vs Buccaneers

calvin-ridley-week-12-wr-rankingsJulio Jones may be the chalk play at wide receiver this week, but his teammate Calvin Ridley looks like the better play when we factor in cost and ownership. Ridley saw a season-high 25-percent target share in Week 11, finishing as the WR3 with 143 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions. The Buccaneers defense is strong against the run but struggles in the secondary, so we know there is a high probability that Matt Ryan will attempt north of 40 passes for the fifth time this season. Tampa Bay has allowed the most receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and fantasy points per game to wide receivers. As if we needed any more reason to play Ridley, this game has the highest over/under on the slate.

DeVante Parker, Dolphins at Browns

devante-parker-week-12-wr-cb-matchupsIt seems like the whole fantasy community is in denial of the DeVante Parker post-hype breakout season that is unfolding right before our eyes. He is among the top-24 wide receivers in
targets, receiving yards, completed air yards, yards per reception, and touchdowns. Parker has finished as the WR31 or better in seven straight games and is the WR17 since Week 4. He has done it in both favorable and unfavorable matchups.

In Week 11, Parker saw shadow coverage from Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White who ranks sixth in PlayerProfiler’s cornerback rankings. In that matchup, Parker caught seven of his 10 targets for 135 yards and finished as the WR10, proving he is matchup proof. He will have to overcome another difficult matchup against Denzel Ward in Week 12, but his consistent play and volume keep him in the WR2/3 conversation. While he may be considered more of a contrarian play than a lock-button, Parker’s price of just $5,200 (WR38) on DraftKings and $6,000 (WR38) on Fanduel, makes him a great play however you want to categorize it.

Julio Jones, Falcons vs Buccaneers

The Bucs have allowed the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers and Julio Jones will take full advantage.

Odell Beckham Jr., Browns vs Dolphins

The get-right game for OBJ we have been waiting for. He has seen cornerback matchups of Stephon Gilmore, Chris Harris Jr., Tre’Davious White, and Joe Haden over the last four weeks but now gets a matchup against the Dolphins. The target share numbers have been there, this is the game he puts up the production to match.

Jamison Crowder, Jets vs Raiders

Jamison Crowder has been the WR1 over the last three weeks with 18 receptions for 240 yards and three touchdowns. The Raiders have allowed 39.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers.
