Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Josh Allen $8,100
vs Miami
Allen has averaged 318 yards and 3 TDs over the last three games. He’s also scored twice on the ground in those games. Miami has given up the 2nd most yards through the air and 3rd most passing TDs.
Jalen Hurts $7,100
@ Detroit
It’s been ugly but Hurts has been very productive from a fantasy standpoint. He’s averaged 26 DraftKings points. He’s averaging 245 pass yards and 51 rushing yards a game. He’s scored five rushing TDs. The Lions are a bottom ten team in yards given up through the air and on the ground.
Teddy Bridgewater $5,400
vs Washington
Bridgewater has thrown multiple TDs in each of his last three games. Over that span he’s averaged 19.9 DraftKings points. Washington has given up the most TDs and yards through the air.
RB
Jonathan Taylor $7,200
vs Tennessee
Over the last four games, Taylor is averaging 18 touches for 138 yards and he’s scored five TDs over that span. That’s over 7 yards a touch. The Titans give up the 8th most yards per carry.
Joe Mixon $6,900
@ the Jets
Mixon has averaged just under 20 touches a game. He’s taking on the Jets who are the worst team against running backs. They’ve given up the 2nd most rushing TDs despite already having their bye week.
Darrell Henderson $6,500
@ Houston
DraftKings just refuses to increase Henderson’s price. He’s averaging just under 16 touches a game. Prior to last week, Henderson had not scored less than 15.7 points on DraftKings. Houston is the worst against the run and have already given up over 1,000 yards and 12 TDs.
Michael Carter $4,900
Carter’s usage is trending up with no less than 13 touches in his last three games. He played a season high 72% of snaps in Week 7. He had 18 touches last week and Mike White targeted him nine times resulting in eight receptions. Ty Johnson also received seven targets which shows White’s propensity to target the RB position.
WR
Cooper Kupp $9,000
@ Houston
Just play him. Double digit targets in every game. Almost 300 receiving yards and four TDs in the last two weeks alone. Houston is giving up 12.6 yards per reception, fourth most in the league.
AJ Brown $6,900
@ the Colts
Brown has had back to back games with nine targets. With no Julio Jones, Brown will see double digit targets. He’s amassed 224 receiving yards over the last two games. Indy has given up the 2nd most receiving TDs.
Chris Godwin $6,400
@ New Orleans
Godwin has had double digit targets in three games this year. He’ll easily get there again this week with no Antonio Brown. Lattimore should be on Evans, leaving plenty of opportunities for Godwin.
Michael Pittman $5,300
vs the Titans
Pittman’s price was not adjusted coming off a Sunday night game where he went for 105 yards and a TD. He faces the Titans who have given up the most fantasy points to WRs.
Jamal Agnew $3,700
@ Seattle
Hard to believe I’m even writing this but there are no cheap plays on this slate and at his price Agnew is worth a shot. He’s seen 13 targets the last two games resulting in 11 catches for 119 yards. Seattle has given up the 4th most yards through the air.
TE
Dallas Goedert $4,700
@ Detroit
With no Ertz, Goedert played 94% of snaps and ran 34 routes, both season highs. He was targeted five times and had an impressive 19.8 yard average depth of target.
Ricky Seals Jones $3,800
@ Denver
Until they increase his price, I’m using Seals Jones. He’s played pretty much every snap since Thomas went down. 22 targets the last three games. He’s averaging 5 receptions for 50 yards over that time which is plenty to pay off at his price.
Dan Arnold $2,800
Arnold has played 62 and 73% of snaps over the last two weeks. He’s had 13 targets in those two games. Seattle has allowed 13.23 points a game to TEs.
DEF
PHI 2,700
DET $2,300
WAS $2,100
