Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
I think Goff is the clear option this week but if you don’t like it, Patrick Mahomes $8,500 is a pay up option. Or Gardner Minshew $5,500 would be my preferred option in Goff’s range.
Jared Goff $5,600
Goff has been great at home averaging 2.5 TDs per game in Detroit. He’s thrown for at least 330 yards in three if hisblast four games. The Bears have allowed 7.7 yards per pass attempt which is 2nd highest in the league.
RB
James Conner $7,200
Conner has at least 15 carries and a TD in three straight games. He also has the 2nd most targets among RBs over the last three weeks. Atlanta is allowing 5.2 yards per carry over the last four weeks.
Rhamondre Stevenson $6,800
Last week was a bust for Stevenson but he still got the work and obviously had a monster game the prior week. Since Week 7, he has the 2nd most receptions and targets among RBs. Miami has allowed the most receiving TDs to RBs this season.
Travis Etienne $6,400
Etienne has at least 20 touches in back to back weeks. He’s been getting more involved in the passing game as well with at least 24 receiving yards in eachbof those games. The Texans have allowed the most rushing yards to RBs by far and the most rushing TDs this season.
Tyler Allgeier $5,300
Allgeier has turned into a workhorse. He has at least 17 carries in back to back games. He’s averaged 126.5 yards from scrimmage and over six yards per carry in those games. Arizona is allowing 5.1 yards per carry to RBs over the last four weeks.
Brian Robinson $5,200
Robinson has averaged 19 carries a game since week 10. He’s had at least 85 rushing yards in four of those six games. Gibson is banged up and could be out for this game. The Browns are allowing 5.2 yards per carry and have allowed the 2nd most rushing TDs this year.
WR
Amon Ra St Brown $7,800
If you’re playing Goff it obviously makes sense. Amon Ra has averaged eight receptions since Week 10. He has a 28.4% target share and has been targeted on an impressive 32.4% of his routes run. Think about that. He’s targeted on one of every three routes he runs.
Keenan Allen $7,000
Allen has been an absolute target monster with 14 targets in three of his last four games. Over the last four weeks Allen has averaged 12.75 targets, 9.25 receptions and 92.5 yards.
Godwin is averaging 10 targets a game. He has the 8th most receptions in the league despite missing two games. He has at least eight receptions in three of his last four games. The Panthers have allowed 15 yards per reception over the last four weeks.
Garrett Wilson $5,500
Wilson has averaged 10 targets and 110 receiving yards with Mike White. He has a 23% target share and has averaged 14 yards per reception.
Brandin Cooks $4,800
Cooks was actually involved last week and even scored a TD. The fact of the matter is there’s nobody else on Houston. The Jaguars have allowed the 3rd most TDs to opposing WRs.
TE
Evan Engram $4,400
Engram leads all TEs in targets, receptions and receiving yards over the last three weeks. Over that span he’s averaged 11 targets, 8.7 receptions and 112 yards.
Jelani Woods $2,800
If Granson is out Woods is my favorite pay down option. He was targeted five times last week and had 43 yards. The Giants have allowed the most TDs to TEs over the last six weeks.
DEF
SF $2,900
NE $2,600
