Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Joe Burrow $7,000
Burrow has been great lately and now has Chase back in the lineup. The price is too low for what he’s been doing and capable of. Over his last three games he’s averaged 303.7 yards and 2.3 TDs. He’s averaging 27.5 DraftKings points at home this season.
Jared Goff $5,600
Goff has been much better at home this season. He’s averaged 269.6 yards and 2.4 TDs at home. He’s averaged 12.4 more DraftKings points per game at home than on the road. The Vikings have allowed the most passing yards this season.
RB
Joe Mixon $6,900
I wouldn’t use Mixon and Burrow in the same lineup. This price is way too low for the workload that Mixon gets. He’s averaged 19.9 touches per game and is still top 10 in RB receptions despite missing two games. He also has the 2nd most rushes inside the 10 yard line this year. Cleveland has allowed 5.1 yards per carry and are tied for the most TDs allowed to RBs this season.
Tony Pollard $6,700
Since week 8, Pollard has the 2nd most points among RBs and the 2nd most rushing TDs. He’s averaged 5.9 yards per carry over that span. He has at least 14 touches in each of his last six games. The Cowboys are huge favorites at home with the highest implied team total against the worst rush defense in football. If you wanted to save some salary and play Ezekiel Elliott $6,100 that’s fine. I definitely want a piece of this Dallas backfield. I lean Pollard because of the efficiency and passing game usage but both are fine plays.
D’Andre Swift $5,800
Swift had a season high 20 opportunities last week and finally looked healthy. This game has the highest total on the slate. I don’t love playing three Lions in the same lineup but if I’m not playing Amon Ra I’ll go Swift. The Vikings are bottom five in receiving yards allowed to RBs.
Latavius Murray $5,200
If you’re looking for savings Murray is the guy. He’s averaged 18.7 touches over the last three weeks. He has at least three receptions in three of his last four games.
WR
Amon Ra St Brown $7,800
Basically a cash lock every week, Amon Ra has a floor of 10 targets. Over his last four games he’s averaged 9.25 receptions, 10.25 targets and 107.75 yards.
Tyler Lockett $6,500
Lockett has scored a TD in five straight games. He has a 23.7% target share and has been targeted on 23.1% of his routes run. His price remains in this area and he should be more expensive based on his production.
Garrett Wilson $5,900
Wilson has at least 90 yards in four of his last five games. He’s averaged 5.8 catches and 95.2 yards over that span. The Bills have allowed the most receiving TDs to opposing WRs over the last six weeks.
Jerry Jeudy $5,400
In his last three healthy games, Jeudy has averaged 5.6 receptions and 74.7 yards. He’ll see a target increase with Sutton out. The Chiefs have allowed the 2nd most TDs to opposing WRs this season.
Zay Jones $4,900
Jones is a salary saver thats involved in the offense going up against the Titans who have allowed the 2nd most yards and most receiving TDs to opposing WRs this season.
Kendall Hinton $3,400
He’s $3.4k thats it. No seriously though Sutton is out and Denver will have to throw a ton against the Chiefs.
TE
Pat Freiermuth $4,500
Freiermuth has a 23% target share since Claypool left town. He has the 4th most receptions and yards among TEs.
Greg Dulcich $3,400
Dulcich will be the Broncos pass catcher I play. He played 55% snaps in the slot last week and with no Sutton he’ll see a target bump.
Jordan Akins $2,800
Akins has 11 total targets the last two weeks. Cooks and Collins have been ruled out of this game and Akins will be relied upon as a huge underdog against the Cowboys.
DEF
PIT $2,800
NYJ $2,500
CAR $2,200
