Week 13 Draftkings Cash Game Preview
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Tom Brady $7,200
Let’s be serious, Fournette is not gonna score four TDs every week. I expect Brady & the passing game to bounce back big time this week. Brady has thrown multiple TDs in eight games this season. He’s thrown for four or more TDs in five games. Atlanta has allowed the fourth most passing TDs this season.
Justin Herbert $6,700
Herbert has averaged 25 DraftKings points per game. He’s thrown for over 300 yards in more than half his games. He’s averaged 63 rushing yards over the past two games with a number of designed runs. Cincinnati has allowed the eighth most passing yards per game.
RB
Alexander Mattison $7,600
In two games with no Cook earlier this year, Mattison had 32 touches in each. He aslo topped 100 yards rushing in each. The Lions have allowed the fifth most points per game to RBs.
Eli Mitchell $6,000
Mitchell had back to back games with 27 carries. 27!!! Eli has also had five receptions in two of his last three games. He’s averaging 4.8 yards per carry. There’s also no Deebo to steal goal line carries.
Antonio Gibson $5,700
Gibson had a season high in carries, receptions and targets last week totaling 36 touches. With Mckissic missing this game, Washington will finally be forced to use Gibson in the passing game which is ridiculous to say considering he’s a transitioned college WR. The Raiders have allowed the 4th most points per game to RBs.
Jamaal Williams $5,400
With no Swift, Williams will be a workhorse. Last week he had 15 carries and five receptions. Swift had a 19% target share and with Williams pass catching ability there’s no reason to believe he’ll receive less targets. Especially considering the Lions are touchdown underdogs.
WR
Cooper Kupp $9,000
Kupp has had double digit targets in all but one game this season. He leads the league in receiving yards, yards after the catch and receiving TDs.
Keenan Allen $7,500
Allen has a ridiculous 27% target share. He has the third most targets and receptions in the league. Over the last four weeks he’s averaged nine receptions and 99.75 yards.
Diontae Johnson $6,800
Johnson has had 13 or more receptions in his last three games. He’s had no less than seven receptions and has averaged 93 yards over that span. The Ravens have allowed the most yards per reception this season.
Chris Godwin $6,600
Not even gonna use stats to justify this one. Other than the fact that the Falcons are tied for the third most receiving TDs this season. Brady and Godwin will destroy this defense a week after being unproductive chalk.
Hunter Renfrow $5,800
Renfrow has nine targets in three of his last four games. He’s had at least six receptions in seven games this season. With Waller out, Renfrow will see his already 20% target share increase. Washington has given up the most TDs through the air.
TE
Foster Moreau $2,700
Foster filled in nicely for Waller in Week 7 with six catches on six targets for 60 yards and a TD. With no Waller again he should see a very similar target share. Washington has allowed the third most passing yards per game.
Just play Moreau this week, it’s a free square and even if he fails it wont hurt in cash because of his ownership.
