Week 12 Draftkings Cash Game Preview
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Jalen Hurts $7,300
Hurts has averaged 13.6 rush attempts and 62 rushing yards over the last three games. He’s averaged just under 24 DraftKings points per game. Last week was his third game this year with multiple rushing TDs.
Justin Herbert $6,600
Herbert is averaging just under eight yards a carry over the last three games. He has three or more passing TDs in four games this season. The Broncos have allowed multiple passing TDs in each of their last two games.
Cam Newton $5,600
Cam had 10 rushing attempts last week which will likely be his average per game. He’s scored a rushing TD in back to back games and has a passing TD in those games as well. The Dolphins have allowed multiple passing TDs in seven games this season and they’re bottom 10 in points per game allowed to QBs.
RB
Christian McCaffrey $9,000
McCaffrey has 40 touches over the last two games, 17 of which are receptions. McCaffrey has topped 100 yards from scrimmage in each of his three games since coming back from injury. Miami allowed the mostly talentless Jets run for 5.7 yards per carry last week.
Dalvin Cook $8,100
Cook has had 22 or more carries in back to back games. He’s had three catches in each of his last three games, topping 100 scrimmage yards in each of them. The 49ers have allowed the 3rd most rushing TDs this season.
AJ Dillon $5,900
While last week wasn’t overly productive, Dillon did have 17 touches in the absence of Jones. He’ll be the workhorse again at a depressed salary. He gets the Rams who allowed 156 rushing yards in their last game and have allowed four rushing TDs over their last three games.
Miles Sanders $5,100
In the first game back from injury, Sanders received the most carries he’s had all year. Philadelphia has gone extremely run heavy, rushing 42.7 times per week over the last three games which is eight more carries a game than the next closest team. Sanders is averaging just under 8 yards per carry. The Giants are bottom 10 in rushing yards allowed per game this season.
WR
Cooper Kupp $9,600
Devonte Adams $8,600
The clear top options at WR, safest floors and highest ceilings, if you can afford them play em. I slightly prefer Kupp but both are great plays.
Keenan Allen $7,400
Allen has no less than 11 targets over the last four weeks. He has the most receptions over that span and has topped 100 yards in two of the last three games.
Diontae Johnson $6,600
Johnson has been targeted 13 times in four of his last five games. Only Tyreek Hill & Justin Jefferson have more air yards over that span. The Bengals give up the 5th most receptions per game this season.
Michael Pittman $5,600
Over the last four games, Pittman has been targeted just under eight targets per game. He has three TDs over that span. Tampa has given up the 6th most receiving TDs this season.
Nick Westbrook Ikhine $4,000
He caught seven balls for 107 yards on eight targets last week. With Julio & Marcus Johnson and AJ Brown all out, Westbrook Ikhine is in line to get an enormous target share.
TE
Pat Freiermuth $4,300
Freiermuth has averaged just over seven targets over the last five games. He’s scored four TDs in his last four games. Eric Ebron is out which solidifies Pat’s role even more.
Dan Arnold $4,000
I’m willing to forget about less week. The tight end position is one of the most volatile. Prior to last week, Arnold had three straight games with at least seven targets and 60 yards. With Agnew back he will command a larger target share.
Anthony Firsker $2,700
Firkser saw seven targets last week and with the Titans top pass catchers all going down he’ll be targeted often. If Swain misses he could easily see double digit targets.
DEF
HOU $2,300
JAX $2,200
