Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Patrick Mahomes $8,200
This price is too low for the best QB in football. Five straight games over 325 yards and has six games with three or more passing TDs. He’s score over 30 DraftKings points in five of his last six games.
Tua Tagovailoa $6,900
Tua has over 30 pass attempts in four straight games. He’s averaged 323 passing yards in his last three games. He’s also thrown three TDs in each of those three games.
Geno Smith $6,000
Geno has thrown multiple TDs in seven of his last eight games. He adds a little with his legs with at least four carries in four straight games. Vegas is bottom five against QBs this season.
RB
Josh Jacobs $7,700
Jacobs is very safe from a usage standpoint. At least 20 touches in all but three games. He’s 3rd in carries and rushing yards this season. He’s been involved in the passing game as well catching at least three balls in seven of his last eight games.
Ken Walker $6,900
Walker was ineffective last time out against Tampa’s formidable run defense but salvage his day with six receptions. He has at least three catches in each of his last two games. Vegas has allowed the 4th most receptions to RBs. Since taking over in week 6, Walker has forced the 2nd most broken tackles and has scored the most rushing TDs.
Jeff Wilson $5,900
Wilson has at least 12 touches in both games with the Dolphins. He had 19btouches last week. He’s averaged 6.5 yards per carry in those games. Houston has allowed the most rushing yards, 2nd most yards per carry and most rushing TDs to RBs this season.
Rachaad White $5,100
If Fournette can’t go White is a cash game lock. At his salary, he’s viable even if Fournette plays. He actually started last week and had 22 carries. Cleveland is tied with Houston for most rushing TDs allowed to RBs and give up the 2nd most yards per carry.
WR
Davante Adams $8,600
Adams basically has a floor of 12 targets with Renfrow and Waller gone. He’s had no less than 13 targets in each of his last three games. He’s averaged 8.6 receptions 138 yards and has totaled five TDs over that span. He has a 32% target share on the season.
Keenan Allen $6,100
Allen was able to make it through his first game back from the hamstring injury and looked good. He had eight targets and caught five for 94 yards. He’ll be way more expensive going forward.
Tyler Lockett $6,200
Lockett is averaging 5.4 receptions per game. He’s scored a TD in three straight games. Vegas has allowed over 10 more points per game to slot receivers compared to outside receivers.
Chris Godwin $6,000
This price is stupid. At least six receptions in seven straight games. He has double digit targets in 63% of his games. The Browns have allowed the 5th most TDs to WRs this year.
Garrett Wilson $4,300
Wilson is easily the most talented player in this price range and is only here because of how terrible Zach Wilson has been. If Mike White is even fairly competent Wilson will payboff at his salary.
Nico Collins $4,100
Collins price didn’t change and he’s once again a pay down option. At least seven targets and five receptions in back to back games. He has a 25% target share in those games and has been targeted on 28% of his routes.
TE
Travis Kelce $7,700
In the disaster that is the TE position, Kelce is a cheat code. The salary is too low for what he can do. He has a 25% target share and the 6th most targets in the league. He has at least six catches in every game since week 4. He’s averaged 101.6 yards over his last five games.
Foster Moreau $3,400
Moreau remains a weekly pay down TE option.
Juwan Johnson $3,400
Johnson has at least 40 yards and a TD in three straight games. Since Week 7 he has the most TDs and the 3rd most points among TEs.
DEF
NYJ $3,300
KC $2,800
