Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Patrick Mahomes $7,600
Despite some ups and downs the past few weeks, Mahomes is underpriced coming off a game where he threw for 406 yards and five TDs. Even with three games where he scored 15 points or less, Mahomes is averaging 24.6 DraftKings points per game. Dallas is giving up the 6th most passing yards per game on the road.
Dak Prescott $7,200
Even with a Week 2 dud where he only scored 8.5 points, Dak has averaged 23.9 DraftKings a week. He’s had five games with three or more passing TDs as well as two games throwing for over 400 yards. Kansas City has allowed the 10th most passing yards per game.
Cam Newton $5,100
This price is great for a cash play. While he doesn’t possess the upside he once did, Cam accounted for two TDs on his first two plays last week. This week he’ll be starting and has a floor of 8 rushing attempts. Last year he had four separate games with 2 rushing TDs.
RB
Christian McCaffrey $8,600
Since coming back from injury, McCaffrey quickly reminded us of his value. He’s had 41 touches in two games despite only playing 54 percent of snaps. In those games he’s averaged 20 DraftKings points without scoring a TD.
AJ Dillon $6,200
Last week, Dillon turned 23 touches into 128 total yards and two TDs. With Jones out, 20 touches is basically his floor and at this price he should be in everyone’s cash lineup. The Vikings allow the 5th most rushing yards per game.
David Montgomery $5,500
Montgomery put any concerns about his usage to rest in Week 9 playing 85% of snaps and tallying 15 touches. When he’s healthy he is the clear RB1 for the Bears. He’s averaging 18 touches a game. The Ravens have given up the 5th most rushing TDs in the league.
Mark Ingram $5,400
With Kamara missing again, Ingram is absolutely in play. Last week he had 18 touches totaling 100 yards and a TD. The Eagles allow five yards a carry which is 4th most this season.
WR
Davante Adams $8,400
Adams is averaging 10.8 targets a game with 23 targets in the last two games alone. He’s averaging 19.8 DraftKings points per game despite only scoring 3 TDs this season.
Brandin Cooks $6,000
Cooks is averaging 9.3 targets per game with 20 targets over the last two games. He’s had back to back games with 6 receptions. His price would be significantly higher if he played for any team other than Houston.
Hunter Renfrow $5,800
Back to back games with nine targets and seven receptions and a TD in both games, Renfrow has clearly established himself as the top receiver since the departure of Ruggs. The Bengals are bottom 10 in receiving yards allowed per game.
Tee Higgins $5,400
Higgins has averaged 8.4 targets over his last five games. He has a 25 percent target share on the season. He’s underperformed from a TD standpoint which will even out at some point especially since the Bengals throw at the 2nd highest rate inside the 10 yard line.
Rashod Bateman $4,500
Bateman has 8 targets in back to back games. He has 11 catches for 132 yards in those games. He has no less than six targets in the four games he’s played. The Bears allow the 3rd most yards per reception.
Michael Gallup $4,200
With Cooper ruled out, Gallup is a lock for cash at this price. He saw five targets in his 1st game back of the IR. He was tackled at the two yard line and just missed on a deep catch which would’ve dramatically increased his prices. Take the free square.
TE
Dan Arnold $4,100
Over the last three weeks, Arnold is leading the Jaguars in targets with no less than seven targets in any of those games. He’s also topped 60 yards receiving in each game.
Tyler Conklin $3,900
Conklin had back to back games with seven targets in Weeks 8 & 9. Last week he scored two TDs. Over the last three games he’s averaging 12 DraftKings points which is more than adequate at his price for cash.
Cole Kmet $3,400
Kmet is coming off of his best game of the season with six catches for 87 yards. Over the last three games he has target totals of 8, 6 and 6. The Ravens have allowed the 3rd most points to TEs.
DEF
CAR $2,700
