Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP(tournament). Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you would’ve won a GPP.
QB
Josh Allen $7,900
In the three games prior to last week’s stinker, Allen averaged 33.9 DraftKings points. He’s averaged just under 40 rushing yards a game. The Jets have given up 15 rushing TDs which is most in the league. Allen has thrown for multiple TDs in six games this season.
Tom Brady $7,800
Brady is currently 2nd for most completions and yards. He’s averaged 27.6 DraftKings points a game. Washington has given up the most fantasy points and yards to QBs. They’ve also given up 20 passing TDs which is 2nd most in the league.
Dak Prescott $6,900
Even with last weeks sketchy performance and a Week 2 dud, Dak has averaged 23.6 DraftKings a week. He’s had five games with three or more passing TDs as well as two games throwing for over 400 yards.
RB
Dalvin Cook $8,000
Cook is averaging 21.6 touches a game. He’s topped 100 yards rushing in half of his games this year. He’s averaging 4.8 yards a carry, The Chargers have given up five yards a carry and the most rushing yards this year.
Najee Harris $7,900
Harris has no less than 23 carries in his last four games. He has 52 targets which is 2nd among RBs. The Lions have given up 10 rushing TDs which is the 4th most in the league.
Mark Ingram $4,500
Ingram had 14 touches in his first game back with the Saints. He caught all five of his targets. The Saints will be without Kamara and Ingram has a floor of 20 touches.
D’Ernest Johnson $4,700
In Week 7 when Chubb was out, Johnson had 22 carries for 146 rushing yards and a TD. That was against Denver who’s a top 10 rush defense. With no Chubb or Felton, Johnson is in line for a monster workload and is the best cash play on the slate at a salary under $5k.
WR
Mike Evans $6,900
Evans is top 10 in air yards and has a 18% target share. That target share will significantly increase if Godwin misses this game. He’s also 2nd in receiving TDs. Washington has given up the 2nd most receiving TDs this season.
Diontae Johnson $6,800
Johnson is averaging just under 10 targets a game. He’s had 13 targets in three of his last five games. Claypool is out which will increase his already huge 27 percent target share. The Lions give up 13.7 yards per reception which is highest in the league.
Michael Pittman $6,300
Pittman had 21 targets the last two games and is averaging 7.9 targets a game. He’s scored five TDs in the last five games. Jacksonville has given up multiple receiving TDs in five games this season.
Jerry Jeudy $5,300
Jeudy saw eight targets last week after only four in his first week back from injury. He caught six balls which is the same total he saw in week 1 prior to getting injured. The Broncos manufacture touches for him which helps provide a safe floor. He takes on an Eagles defense that is susceptible to short passes and slot receivers which is where Jeudy makes a living.
Tyler Johnson $3,300
Johnson had five catches on six targets for 65 yards against the Saints before the bye week. It looks as though Godwin is in serious jeopardy of missing this game. Even if he does play I still like Johnson. Washington has given up the end most passing TDs and is bottom 10 in yards per reception allowed.
TE
Pat Freiermuth $3,900
Freiermuth has established himself as an integral part of the Steelers offense. He’s had at least six targets in each of the last three games and scored three TDs over that span.
Dan Arnold $3,500
Arnold is leading Jacksonville in targets over the last three games. He has a 19 percent target share. 17 targets in the last two games alone. He topped 60 yards receiving in both games.
DEF
TEN $2,600
CAR $2,400
