Matchups to Avoid
Allen Robinson vs Jalen Ramsey: You probably can’t sit ARob, but stay away in DFS. The Rams allowed the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers last year and things don’t project to be much different in 2021.
Mike Williams vs Washington: The WFT has one of the best defenses in the NFL. Start Keenan Allen, but be weary of everyone else.
Bryan Edwards vs Marlon Humphrey: Edwards is a favorite breakout candidate but that may have to wait a week due to this matchup. Keep him on your bench for now and pick him up when your leaguemates drop him after a disappointing Week 1.
Marquez Callaway vs Jaire Alexander: Callaway looked great in preseason and will operate as the team’s WR1, but Alexander may be the best cornerback in the league.
Matchups to Exploit
Devonta Smith vs ATL: It’s not always recommended to start a rookie wide receiver in Week 1 but the circumstances and matchup warrant a long hard look at the Heisman winner in both traditional leagues and DFS.
Mike Evans vs DAL: Evans should beat up on Trevon Diggs all night long. Start Godwin and AB, too
