NFL Week 17 DraftKings Cash Games
Winning Week 17 Cash Games On DraftKings
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP even if its a small one. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you could’ve won a GPP.
QB
Sam Darnold $6,400
Darnold isn’t getting enough credit for the season he’s been having. He currently has the 6th most passing yards, 4th in yards per attempt and 5th in passing TDs. He’s thrown for multiple TDs in five of his last six games. Darnold has 11 passing TDs in his last four home games. With a plethora of weather concerns, this is one of the few games on the slate in a dome.
Anthony Richardson $5,900
On a small slate with limited QB options this is a pretty easy case to make. Richardson provides such a high floor with his rushing ability. Since Week 11 he’s averaged nine carries 54 rush yards and a TD. Oh and he gets to face the Giants.
RB
DeVon Achane $7,700
Achane has at least seven targets and at least six receptions in four straight games. He provides such a safe floor with the pass catching. Waddle could be out which only increases his role. Adding to the fact is the weather concerns which could lead to even more short passes.
Chuba Hubbard $6,800
Chuba is the best points per dollar play when taking into account his usage. There is zero competition for touches. He’s a bit banged up and Tampa has been better defending the run lately but Chuba’s workload males him Cash viable.
Bucky Irving $5,700
Bucky has emerged as a solid NFL RB. He leads the league in force missed tackles. Tampa is playing for their playoff lives and have the highest implied team total on the slate. As an eight point favorite ucky should see plenty of opportunities after receiving 16 and 15 carries the last two weeks.
Aaron Jones $6,200
Jones has seen 21 and 20 opportunities over the last two weeks. He’s scored a TD in four of his last five games. He should be more expensive and is playing in one of the few games that doesn’t have weather concerns in a dome. Jones destroyed Green Bay in Week 4 going for 139 total yards.
Once again Tyjae Spears $5,400 is in play if Pollard misses.
WR
Justin Jefferson $8,300
As mentioned with Jones, this game is in a dome. I’d also like to mention that it’s in a dome with the highest total on the slate. He’s coming off of back to back games with 13 targets and has at least seven receptions in four straight games. The Vikings still have a chance at the 1-seed in the NFC and the Packers should force the Vikings to have to score in this game.
Brian Thomas Jr $6,800
This one is simple. Thomas has emerged as a top talent at WR and is underpriced by at least $1k. Double digit targets in three straight games and at least eight receptions in three straight.
Adam Thielen $5,700
Thielen isn’t likely to break a slate but he’s been consistent. Over his last four games he’s averaged 8.5 targets and 74 yards. Carolina is an eight point underdog and will likely be forced to throw against a porous Tampa secondary. The Bucs have allowed the 4th most yards through the air this season.
Jalen McMillan $4,600
McMillan has a 21% target share over his last three weeks. That should only increase now considering it’s just him and Evans since Shepard is out. Carolina isn’t exactly great at defense anyway.
Dontayvion Wicks $3,900
This only works if Watson is out. Unfortunately withbthis game being in the late window we might not know right away.
TE
Chig Okonkwo $3,600
Okonkwo is coming off back to back weeks with double digit targets. He had target shares of 31% and 27% in those two games. The Jags are a joke when it comes to defending the pass.
Payne Durham $2,900
I don’t thinking I’d play three Bucs in the same lineup but Durham is definitely in play. With Otten and Shepard out there’s extra targetsnto go around and it wouldn’t take much to pay off this price tag.
DEF
IND $3,500
LV $2,600
CLE $2,400
