NFL Week 14 DraftKings Cash Games
Winning Week 14 Cash Games on Draftkings
Cash games take a bit of a different approach. We only need to finish in the top half of finishing positions. The goal is to get the safest floor with a bit of upside for the cheapest price. Ownership is an afterthought. I tend to look for the most guaranteed touches from the RBs and WR. A floor is just as important as a players upside in cash. If there’s value on the slate at WR I’ll play the top RBs otherwise I’m looking for the most touches in the mid range. Cash games are a great way to build your bankroll and stay profitable long term.
I will say that you should ALWAYS enter your cash lineups into a GPP even if its a small one. Believe me it is not fun coming 1st in a double up and winning the same amount as the person who came in 2,000th when you could’ve won a GPP.
QB
Sam Darnold $6,100
Darnold has averaged 22.8 DraftKings points over his last three games. He’s thrown multiple TDs in five of his last six games. The Vikings are in a good spot at home as six point favorites with the 4th highest implied team total on the slate.
Geno Smith $5,800
This QB slate is devoid of standout plays but Geno is certainly a Cash option. Seattle throws at a high rate which gives Geno plenty of opportunity in a Dome. Geno is 2nd behind Burrow with 36.3 pass attempts per game.
RB
Saquon Barkley $9,000
Barkley has at least 25 opportunities in three straight games. He has 221 more rushing yards than anyone over that span. He’s also averaged a ridiculous 6.8 yards per carry over that span. The Eagles are double digit favorites at home against pathetic Carolina defense so Barkley should be in a positive game script and see plenty of opportunities.
Alvin Kamara $8,000
Kamara has at least 20 touches in four straight games. He’s had at least four receptions in every game since Week 4 and has 14 more targets than any RB on the season. The Giants have allowed the 2nd most points per game to opposing RBs over the last five weeks.
Bucky Irving $6,600
Bucky looks to have taken over as the lead in this backfield. Since coming out of the bye he has 18 and 28 touches in two games. Tampa has the 2nd highest implied team total against a porous Vegas defense.
Isaac Guerendo $5,400
CMC gone, Mason gone so Isaac is the free square this week.
Braelon Allen $5,000
Breece Hall is likely to miss this game which makes Allen a pretty solid cheap option as well. Allen can handle a full workload and has flashed some big play upside with some pass catching ability.
WR
Justin Jefferson $7,800
It’s rare that we get Jefferson under $8k. He hasn’t had an incredible ceiling this year but is as safe as they come at the position. He’s one of only two WRs to already have 1,000 receiving yards. He’s had at least six receptions in eight of his last ten games and has a 30% target share.
Drake London $6,400
This is a solid price for London. Cousins has been a liability but is still leaning on London heavily. London has at least seven targets in nine of twelve games this season including 16 targets last week. He has a healthy 25% target share and 29% targets per route run.
Jerry Jeudy $5,700
Jeudy is coming off the monster performance on Monday night. He has four straight games with at least six receptions and has at least 11 targets in three of them. Over that span Jeudy has averaged 10.3 targets per game, seven receptions and 133 yards. The Steelers have allowed the 8th most points per game to opposing WRs over the last three weeks.
Jakobi Meyers $5,600
Meyers has an incredible role in the Vegas passing game and his salary doesn’t reflect that. He has at least six receptions in five of his last six games. Since Week 8 he’s averaged 10 targets, 6.8 receptions, 81 yards and has a 28% target share. He gets to face the Tampa secondary who’s been terrible.
Jauan Jennings $5,200
Jennings has turned into a solid option at WR and his salary also doesn’t reflect that. Last week was a disaster in the snow but since Week 10 Jennings leads the 49ers in receptions and yards by a wide margin and has a 32% target share over that span.
TE
Brock Bowers $6,100
It’s rare for a rookie TE to make this big of an impact this early. Bowers leads the league in receptions. He’s the highest priced TE but underpriced considering his role. He has double digit targets in three straight games.
TJ Hockenson $4,300
Hockenson is getting healthier each week. He’s had a 20% target share in back to back games. On a pretty ugly TE slate Hockenson offers good value.
Juwan Johnson $3,400
With Taysom out and a serious lack of weapons Juwan should see an uptick in usage. He ran his highest route percentage last week and had a 16% target share.
DEF
NO $2,900
TEN $2,800
