Mario’s Optimal DraftKings DFS Lineup: Week 10
11 game Sunday Slate
QB Tom Brady @ Washington Football Team
$7600
BOOM target: 22.8pts
Brady is having a phenomenal fantasy season at the ripe old age of 44. He just exited the bye week, but still remained the fantasy QB1 on the season. Now he gets a matchup vs an historically poor WFT defense that is giving up the 28th most points to QBs on the season. Brady will for sure be missing some weapons, but we have seen him excel with less. He might hit his BOOM target before halftime.
RB Christian McCaffrey @ Arizona Cardinals
$8400
BOOM target: 25.2pts
You don’t understand how good it feels to be able to put CMC back in these lineups. The Panthers’ RB was back last week, but I was nervous to start him in case of reaggravation of his hamstring. CMC looked like his old self with only a 50% snap share. Despite playing only half the snaps, McCaffrey still managed to score 14.6 fantasy points without scoring a TD. The Cardinals D has played well, but nothing will stop me from starting a healthy CMC this week.
RB JD McKissic vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
$5200
BOOM target: 15.6pts
Slightly under the radar, McKissic is less than 7 fantasy points behind Antonio Gibson for the entire season total. The Bucs are virtually impossible to run the ball against, and likely playing from behind, McKissic should get at least 6-8 targets in the passing game aside from his usual handful of rushes. If he manages to find the endzone, he should hit his BOOM target easily.
WR Davante Adams vs Seattle Seahawks
$7900
BOOM target: 23.7pts
All signs point to Aaron Rodgers returning from his battle with COVID this Sunday at home vs the also returning Russell Wilson. This game could easily turn into a shootout, which would benefit Adams greatly. Davante has seen double digit targets in 4 of 8 games this season, and I anticipate this Sunday will be the 5th vs a Seahawks defense that is middle of the pack in fantasy points given up to WRs.
WR Diontae Johnson vs Detroit Lions
$6800
BOOM target: 20.4pts
Johnson has a fantastic matchup this weekend vs an extremely poor Lions pass defense. Already a target monster, Diontae should see a boost with Claypool likely out with injury. Johnson has caught at least 5 passes or a TD in every single game this season, and without a viable CB on the Lions defense, he should see plenty of targets and have much room to run.
WR Tyler Johnson @ Washington Football Team
$3300
BOOM target: 9.9pts
No Gronk. No AB. Godwin is questionable to play with an injury. 3 good reasons why Johnson is a great DFS play this week, and is the second half of the stack with Brady. Johnson has made the most of his opportunities this season, and with AB out in Week 8, he was able to haul in 5 catches for 65 yards. Should Godwin miss this game, Johnson will be thrown in as starter opposite of Evans. Brady will throw early and often, and Johnson only needs 1 big play to hit his BOOM target.
TE Dan Arnold @ Indianapolis Colts
$3500
BOOM target: 10.5pts
Dan Arnold continues to be a value play in the TE slot since his trade to the Jaguars. He has seen 17 targets in the past 2 weeks, converting those looks into 12 catches for 128 yards. Lawrence looks his way often, and they are creating quite the rapport from QB to TE.
FLEX RB D’Ernest Johnson @ New England Patriots
$4700
BOOM target: 14.1pts
Johnson is an outlier play here with no correlation to any other game due to sheer volume. COVID has hit the Browns RB room on top of untimely injuries, and Johnson is the only RB on the Browns roster as of late Friday. Chubb has already been ruled out for Sunday, and D’Ernest has the backfield all to himself vs a Patriots defense that has given up the 25th most fantasy points to RBs this season.
D/ST Tennessee Titans vs New Orleans Saints
$2600
BOOM target: 7.8pts
With the remaining salary, we fire up a surprising Tennessee defense that has scored the 8th most defensive fantasy points on the season. This week they face a Saints team led by journeyman Trevor Siemian, and at the time I was writing this article, Kamara was ruled out with a knee injury.
